Use Cases and Deployment Scope

In my company, we need to work with [a] lot of vendors and we set up WebEx meeting, also for some IT support its users because of its great screen sharing capability. We also use WebEx room kit and SX80 for [a] high-quality meeting experience.

Pros and Cons

Screen Sharing
High Quality Audio and Video
Ease of meeting setup directly from outlook
One touch join from WebEx devices such as room kit and SX80.
We have lot of Helpful controls when we setup meeting.
On-premise call manager integration.

For recurring meetings, it would be useful if there is a space where we can keep some files so that we can use that excel at] next meeting. It seriously needs secure file storage.
It's just my thought: make it more real such as virtual reality glass which can also give smell from other sides. Need to think like if a person sits beside you in [the] meeting room. Maybe it will be useful for some organizations and [it's] not available today.
Once the meeting [is] finished, it should mail [the] host and co-host with the attendance report with the call quality information.
in project meetings, the project manager assigns tasks to people. Now it's not possible in WebEx to assign/track the task assigned.

Return on Investment

WebEx is Costly so many sites moving towards MS Teams.
Mostly on high-priority meetings people [use] Webex. CEO, Director label people. But IT Support, normal business people use MS Teams only.
Webex Audio and Video quality always appreciated.
Negative: there are [a] lot of issues while joining MS Teams meetings from Webex
app /device.

Alternatives Considered

Microsoft Teams, BlueJeans Meetings and Google Meet

Mostly for high-level conference rooms which [need] face-to-face audio and Visual experience and reduce international travel cost for Business people in our organization. I work as [a] UC engineer so any time I and many other needs to take remote desktop of users to fix Jabber issue, cert issue, and many others. WebEx Screen sharing does a great job.

Reliability and Availability

A few months back we had [an] issue where a high-level meeting was going on in conference room, it was a b2b meeting and very important meeting. Someone touch the mute button on SX80 and had some internal discussion which should not be heard by another party but the mute button did not work and [the] other party told us they can hear us. It really gives a negative impact.

Scalability

Definitely, Webex is a scalable and flexible software that gives high-quality audio, high-quality video, high-quality screen sharing, ability to integrate with on-premise dial-plan through expressway but it [doesn't] give all the features users need [nowadays] which MS Teams giving at low cost if I compare with Webex. For recurring project meetings were we to keep meeting notes? where to keep project-related files? how to assign [tasks] to people? where is the attendance report? we don't open admin.webex.com every time and search through the reports and one more thing reports on admin.webex.com are very slow even with [a] high-speed line.

Performance

performance is very good while we are [at] the Meeting but the administration portal have issues. if we open a report it [slows] on adin.webex.com. to join ms teams meeting from Webex, to enable one-touch join we need to engage another vendor Polycom to do the integration. On-Premise integration with CUCM works very well.

Likelihood to Recommend

I already told you it's well suited for sporadic meetings but not for [a] recurring meeting. audio, video, screen sharing, whiteboard all works well but [nowadays] people forget many things from [the] last meeting. It required that someone can easily open the app and see meeting notes, files.
