Overall Satisfaction with Webex Meetings

We mainly used Webex during the COVID-19 pandemic as it was our main form of communication and work development. It was predominantly used on a daily basis in which we would stage meetings, informational sessions, role development programs and daily wrap ups to revise what we had worked on throughout the day.

Pros

  • Accessible
  • Simple interface
  • Good choice of background options
  • Easy to navigate verbal and written communication tools

Cons

  • Smoother experience needed
  • To join meetings it needs to be alot smoother
  • the connectivity was dodgy at times.
  • Could be updated to reflect new forms of AI or more up to date aesthetic designs
  • Smooth pandemic experience
  • productive atmosphere
  • great way to connect
It was used throughout the entire Apple sphere, Australia wide, and I also believe internationally. We would mostly use it as a store independently, but Webex was also used to join in on state wide meetings where we would host special meetings that everyone around the state would join from different stores.
It did not continue past Covid restrictions.
It was very effective in the time that we had to connect from home. Other than that, it did not have the same effect.
I think Zoom is better, but I do not like Skype or Microsoft Teams more. Webex works very similarly to zoom, so they were preferential.

Do you think Webex Meetings delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Webex Meetings's feature set?

Yes

Did Webex Meetings live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Webex Meetings go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Webex Meetings again?

No

In my opinion, it is suited when you are in need of a program for online meetings that you may not want to use other applications such as zoom or Skype. If other programs are more well suited or appropriate, such as the accessibility and now popularity of zoom, it may not be as appropriate.

Cisco Hybrid Work

  • Working from home
We have mainly ceased using it as we do not have a need to work from home anymore. It is helpful though communicating between other stores or doing online training
I was not in the decision making process when deciding what to use, but I am glad we did go with Webex. It was relatively manageable and a smooth experience over both laptops and phones. It also helped when we needed to contact other stores.
  • Other
We used an internal apple developed app

Cisco Webex Experience

Using the noise suppression was incredibly helpful as if we were working from home and my dog was barking, it didn’t impact at all. I haven’t had a chance to utilise any of the other functions.
We used to have issues with bots joining the call and suddenly there were hundreds of bots in the call randomly. But other than that, it has been a good experience with no evidenced issues with security.

Using Webex Meetings

It is easy to use and very accessible. I would be concerned about the fact that other sites or apps are developing more quickly than Webex is, which makes it less desirable to use.

Integrating Webex Meetings

  • Powerpoint slides
I think it was sort of difficult, as the sharing screen function was difficult to get to work.
