Overall Satisfaction with Webexpenses

It is being used across the business and ensures that expenses are recorded and paid on time.

Pros

  • It records the expense types very well.
  • Ensures that both parties can see the stage of the expense.
  • Easy to navigate on the website.

Cons

  • I haven't used the app version but heard from colleagues that it might need some improvement.
  • When there has been a update on Webexpenses the mileage claims gave different amounts for employees.
  • Recording expenses on time ensures better cash flow management.
  • However it still requires the individuals to input the data.
Easy to use and navigate on the website, also the app is very useful in today's environment with majority of people having a smart phone.
If something is not clear the guides are also there.
Without Webexpenses it would take a lot longer to administer expenses claims, request approvals and make a payment.
The support Webexpenses provide is crucial to the business to be able to have a clean audit trail and be able to address any issues that might happen during a submission of an expense claim.
At my previous role I have used Concur, but Webexpenses is more user friendly and easier to use as such.

Universe, Microsoft Access, Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)
For a larger company Webexpenses is very useful, however it needs to be updated on a regular basis as people leave and the approval levels need to be managed. Also in terms of the mileage claims the new map version is great, but would be nice if it could actually track the route an employee has taken and calculate the mileage claim according to that (road closures, diversions, etc.).
