Overall Satisfaction with Webexpenses

I mostly use it to get reimbursed for costs I incur out in the field, such as staff welfare, travel expenses, toll roads, hotels, and goods. The entire company uses Webexpenses for all work-related expenses covered under our expense policy.

Pros

  • Keeps a log of the companies maximum amounts for each expense.
  • Allows you to save receipts on your account to attach to claims.
  • Allows me to easily view how much I have claimed over time on my dashboard.
  • Allows me to approve or deny the expenses of my team with ease.

Cons

  • You should be able to add receipts to the claim without leaving the claim and being prompted to save the claim.
  • More guidance on VAT.
  • It means my colleagues don't worry about incurring expenses because they know they will be able to claim them back easily.
Easy to use on web, could be improved on the app - I personally don't use the app but many of my colleagues have shared they find it buggy and have given up trying to use it. Personally I have had no issues using the desktop site so no complaints.
I use it to claim money back from my employers for expenses I incur in the workplace

Would you buy Webexpenses again?

Yes

I often travel away for work and need to stay in hotels. Once I have obtained my invoice from a hotel, it takes me just minutes to upload it to Webexpenses and submit a claim. The same goes for the food I eat when I am away for work. It is less appropriate for claiming toll roads, as I can't obtain proper receipts for this.
