Overall Satisfaction with Widen
We use Widen at our university to house all of the marketing department's assets. All photos we take, designs we make, logos that are created as well as reports and other documents. We then share these assets with those around campus who need them as well as internally to collaborate on projects.

We want to expand across campus to all departments, not just marketing. We also have ideas for more portals and new things we could be doing.
Sometimes we do not hear back for a while when requesting something. Generally, there is not much support needed but when we do the chat support seems to be the go-to feature even though many of the agents do not have all the answers you need. When emailing or requesting demos, the time it takes to respond seems to be significant.
It has helped us to have all of our assets in one place so we know what we have and we can show clients everything we have done and everything that we could do for them. It has been a great help in centralizing our brand.
Widen seems to have much more experience with a DAM than Adobe currently does. Also, AEM is used more for web content while we are focused on a solid working DAM right now.

It is great to easily share collections with people who do not have a license. It would be nice if there were more options when creating portals.
