Use Cases and Deployment Scope

With a global company as large as ours trying to compile and access assets from multiple locations/geographies/businesses was an incredibly difficult task. Acquia DAM (Widen) allowed us to put all of our assets in one location, set multiple access levels and give all of our geographies and locations a place to upload and access assets easily.

I haven’t contacted support since implementation personally, but I have been informed by other members of the team who have that they have been incredibly helpful.

DAM System Solution

We have been able to create templates, provide all of our approved logos, colors, and brand standards in one location, and provide a photo library creating much more consistency in marketing materials.

As far as a digital asset management tool for a design team, Acquia DAM (Widen) is fantastic. I have full backend access though so I can see all of our digital assets. The public portal lacks both a good graphic interface and accessibility, and the difficulty of building one yourself, without consulting hours, is high.
