Overall Satisfaction with WooCommerce
As the CTO for a marketing firm we use WooCommerce in a few different ways. We also manage and extend its functionality regularly for our clients to include back office integrations.
Pros
- Ease of Setup
- Ease of Payment Integrations
- Tons of plugins
Cons
- Tons of plugins lol
- Shipping modules are not robust enough
- Many conflicts between third party plugins
- Some times the hodgepodge of plugins really hurts margins because of the conflicts.
- For small stores its quick to set up and start selling.
- Lack of multi origin shipping modules and conditional shipping methods based on location.
Ease of customization and budget is why we select WooCommerce.
