Cast iron reliability just don't expect agility!
Overall Satisfaction with WordPress
We use WordPress as the CMS for our two main marketing sites as it offers standardised integrations, content management, and user management that both our internal team and external talent find it familiar to work on.
We do not have a complex or ecommerce use case so WordPress has proven sufficient for our requirements.

Pros
- Content management
- Reliability
- Integrations
Cons
- Difficult to add & remove components without coding
- Styling elements can be overruled by site code
- Unintuitive editors/plugins not aligned with WP UI/UX
- Positive ROI for reliability - I can only recall one or two downtimes caused by WP in 5+ years.
- Negative ROI for agility - site changes cost us much more time and money than they would on a low/no code platform.
- Squarespace and Wix
WordPress offers reliability which is very important for our business.
