Overall Satisfaction with WordPress

It is a dependable platform for our websites. It gives us access to many third-party add-ons that greatly empower our websites. Other options are limiting in this, often giving us few, sometimes only one option app.
WordPress is constantly being updated. It is easy for even a layman to do the update. The WordPress websites are always solid and dependable.

The templates and base website options are huge compared to any other option. They are always familiar territory because the backend is a standard build with just enough edge adaption options to personalize each website.

Pros

  • For updates to the Wordpress core and thirdparty apps they have an easy to spot awareness of updates needed and a solid update process that does not require a outside service to look after.
  • Creating blogs is easy, adding photos is just drop and go.
  • Load times are quick

Cons

  • more sites templates specifically for boudoir and nude portraits
  • Third party templates sometimes are more difficult to alter or update
  • Our website is a fast load, 50% quicker than our old site.
  • We saved $5,000 going with the Wordpress option over two other custom plateform builds
  • I can go in to alter or change things when I want rather than a 3rd party team fitting it into their schedule.
Looking at the whole program, its versatility, open-type source, solid foundation, and dependable nature all add up. You often don't realize how solid and flexible it is until you listen to companies not on a WordPress platform. I love being able to go in, add a page, change a page without worrying about problems.

WordPress is great for simple or exotic websites. You can choose to be fairly static and short or active and long. You can also develop more pages than you need.

On the downside, because of the nearly unlimited options to create, It demands a very focused approach where you are clear what your design should look like before you start.
