Overall Satisfaction with Workato
It's being used by my team, which is 10 people. It helps connect several apps like Salesforce and DocuSign to automate our processes. Workato has been really helpful for us—it cut down the time to service a loan in half.
- Workato is really easy to use. With a little bit of training, people without technical experience can put together some pretty useful things.
- We looked at Dell Boomi before Workato and decided not to use them because their solution involved contracting engineers. Workato let us do everything ourselves in half the cost.
- The Workato team is really responsive and happy to help us walk through things
- The only thing I can think of is making it even easier, but it's already pretty easy to use.
- Very positive. It costs about a quarter of a head per year, but the efficiency gains have been the equivalent of adding another head to the team.
In our initial meetings with Boomi, they told us we'd be able to automate all of our processes ourselves. After a few meetings, though, they told us we'd need to contract a team of engineers for 5-6 weeks to build the solution, and we'd need to use engineers whenever we want to modify it.
With Workato, we started automating our processes ourselves in the first meeting. Full implementation was really quick, and the Workato team guided us through it so we could do it ourselves going forward. Workato did everything Boomi said they could do but couldn't, and its costed us half as much. We did like the Boomi people, but to be honest I'm not sure why anybody would use it when they can use Workato.
