Overall Satisfaction with Workfront
We use Workfront for a Service Request/Project Management environment and for editorial content development and approvals. The content development is further exploited through integrations with our CMS and internal and external web publishing application.
- Workflows are king. A well designed workflow saves you time and money.
- Role clarity. This element eliminates abiguity and helps teams effectively manage their resources.
- Approvals, nothing like being able to keep up with all your approvers--those who have been naughty and those who have been nice.
- Workfront needs to deepen its workforce management capabilities to better enable teams to accurately forecast business requirements and availability.
- The calendar needs to be its own functional element, not part of reporting. As such it needs more robust popups--giving descriptions, even time of the event. Multiple filtering levels would also help.
- Workfront also needs a more responsive enhancement request process. Requests seem to go into a black hole.
- We have saved a lot of time for teams.
- Recent licensing cost increases have sharply impacted teams and implementations.
Kapost has some very nice features like a more user friendly content development and approval functionality and publication and metrics tracking element.
