Overall Satisfaction with Wrike
We used Wrike for communications with outside vendors and various internal departments connected to a real estate development project. It was used on a limited basis on a test basis to ease communications tracking. Three departments were involved in the set up and testing.
- The interface was pretty intuitive, and it didn't take long to be able to set up projects and users, from an admin perspective.
- Notifications were promptly sent to all required users, it is a good way to coordinate communications
- Very flexible!
- Setting up projects with templates is not as easy as it seems. Going back to change setups later wasn't smooth.
- Outside vendors weren't keen on having to learn a new software.
- Tasks and folders were difficult to use - hard to find what you are looking for, hierarchy was confusing.
- No branding.
- Found it wasn't suited to our specific real estate development needs, we ended up trying other products.
- WorkZone,Asana,Excel
Wrike was less intuitive than WorkZone, but easier to use than Asana. Excel was more efficeint than all of them, as there was no need to familiarize anyone with the system. Excel didn't solve any email/communications issues, or version controls, but Wrike proved not to be our solution in the end.
