Overall Satisfaction with Wrike

At my marketing agency, we white label for another agency that uses Wrike. I am the sole user at my company so I'm able to manage all projects coming in from the company that we white-label for. We get assigned projects in Wrike, so all creative briefs/assets are delivered via Wrike. We also send all deliverables via Wrike. Any edits are communicated through Wrike.

Pros

  • Wrike conveniently allows you to streamline your messages + what's most important through the "inbox" feature.
  • Additionally, I love how in the inbox you can archive messages that are no longer relevant to you.
  • I appreciate how you can use the filter items + tasks in the Personal view/folder. It helps narrow down and sort through many projects.

Cons

  • While I like how you can give access to projects, tasks, etc. to other people, the system of how you add them can feel confusing to me.
  • The Blueprints feature isn't super easily deciphered. I had a hard time knowing what it was for for a while.
  • I wish in the "My To-Do" view, you could sort by Project/Account.
  • It has allowed me to clearly receive projects from our Partner agency and complete them quickly and efficiently.
  • It has allows us to upsell one small project into additional projects.
  • It has allowed me to run many projects at one time, in a way that is not confusing.
Wrike feels more cohesive with a wholistic approach. This is because to things like email notifications, scheduling capabilities, etc.
Asana manages tasks well but feels like the daughter or son of Wrike, as it doesn't have as many features. Depending on your purposes, one may work better but Wrike seems to have everything I need at this point.

Do you think Wrike delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Wrike's feature set?

Yes

Did Wrike live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Wrike go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Wrike again?

Yes

I think it's great for managing large teams and working between teams. It allows different positions and roles within a company to work together seamlessly. This is also true of remote workers. For example, it helps a Project Manager easily give information to a copywriter who can then perform their task and then send it back. Then the Project Manager is easily able to communicate what is needed to a designer for the project. Edits can be communicated easily as well.
