Wrike Mobile App

Wrike is utilized for advertising and marketing project management as well as resourcing. It allows us to organize tasks and put together comprehensive heat maps to understand volume of work in the pipeline and team readiness to complete the work in a timely fashion. And then we also utilize a section of Wrike for agency financial management.
As a project manager and account manager, I most commonly utilize the board views to see snapshots of work volume and assignments by team member. One of my favorite features of the system is the flexibility provided to create task dependencies and Automate changes throughout a project when a lead date changes.
Task dependencies to create streamlined, semi automated timelines. The ability to connect team members to tasks and utilize an aggregate view to understand workloads. Flexibility of boards to capture financial forecasting data and inform organization level staffing decisions. Built in proofing tools are also a wonderful benefit that substantial cost savings.
I find it fairly difficult to navigate the mobile application. As a project manager, it is difficult to fully access features and keep a project moving on the go. Part of the issue is that it is frankly difficult, with any mobile platform, to remotely dig into the details of a system and make meaningful changes.
Yes it has definitely allowed me to stay plugged in and more productive. Having mobile access with push notifications through my Apple watch mean I can keep tabs on project updates throughout the work day and beyond. If I need to step out for an appointment, I feel connected and know I will not miss any critical notifications requiring immediate action.
I'm not sure I would say I learned any specific lessons from implementing use of the mobile app. I consider it a natural extension of the application and It simply extends my ability to do my job seamlessly, while on the go. While the notifications are helpful, it is still much easier to use the PC app for management.
No, I would say we are utilizing the platform in the same fashion as originally intended.
