Overall Satisfaction with Wrike
My team uses Wrike to manage 80+ partner projects. (Other teams in my company use it to track even more). We track the progress of our projects all the way from partner acquisition to product publication. We use blueprints to streamline new projects and set up custom workflows to track work. Wrike is how we know where we are in a project and what still has to be done.
Pros
- Custom workflows
- Configurability of Folder/Project structure
- Awesome for managing a high volume of high level projects as well as task level work.
Cons
- Missing a “Notes” function for keeping track of notes
- Missing a messaging function to send messages that aren’t related to a specific work item
- Missing ability to automate project status updates based on specific custom item types
- Made it possible to take on tens of additional partners because our process was streamlined
- My team now gets more done because Wrike is set up effectively
- We’re able to see timelines more clearly and better estimate project completion dates
Wrike is SO much more robust than Asana. Asana feels like a PM tool for teams without a PM. It is very limiting in what it allows you to do, while Wrike is extremely configurable and lets you set things up exactly how you need. There are more options for automation, the custom workflows are so much more useful, and everything is much more intuitive and straightforward.
