Overall Satisfaction with Wrike
Wrike is a very efficient way to create a multi-tiered task organization system so that many employees across multiple geographical sites can receive their assignments, properly accounted for, approved, and tested. To be honest, it has taken me some getting used to, but part of that is because each employer has different approaches as to how to use this tool. Now that I have been using it for a couple of years, it has been second nature to follow through on tasks using Wrike.
Pros
- Allowing your superiors to grant permissions on tasks.
- Having a way to follow up your assignment before going live on the changes.
- Having a system to sort such assignments by way of many myriad factors.
Cons
- There is a learning curve. I wish it weren't so, but there you are.
- Sometimes I get lost trying to find my own tasks.
- It took me only recently to find out that a canceled task could simply be done by clicking a trash icon or something; I was expecting it to be one of the choices given (like DEV-Complete).
- It is an efficient way for my superiors to know precisely what I am working on.
- It is how my superiors from another building altogether can assign me a task to complete, without phone calls or elaborate emails that can get lost.
- It gives me a sense of what tasks are still open, in need of completion.
I have not used AI.
We used Excel spreadsheets.
