Overall Satisfaction with Wrike

We're a marketing department of nearly 200 people. We operate like an advertising agency, though, so keeping track of all the creative projects and campaign initiatives is a lot of spinning plates to keep track of. Plus, who started it, who's got it, who needs to approve it, next steps, and basically every detail from start to finish.

Pros

  • tagging users for communication
  • keeping people accountable
  • easy to create a project

Cons

  • clicking the calendar start and end dates often default to something I don't want
  • the AI summarizes isn't great
  • an "undo" button is needed for accidental deletion
  • deadlines are met more often
  • communication is less jumbled
  • versioning lessens confusion and allows an audit trail
The AI summarizer looks at the entire page of the task and allows you to click for a quick summary, rather than scroll to read every comment and hand-off step. I have used it a couple of times but it really hasn't told me anything I could not immediately figure out at a glance.
Wrike's ability to implement workflows is one of the main reasons I love the software. You can build a type customizable to whatever project you are doing, large or small, and they can be set as a template for a simple repeatable process. It is incredibly easy to add or subtract tasks from those, and even drag and drop the order.

Do you think Wrike delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Wrike's feature set?

Yes

Did Wrike live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Wrike go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Wrike again?

Yes

If you have a project that touches many hands, across teams, across departments and even across physical locations (we even get freelancers and other vendors on it as needed, and they could be halfway around the world and you wouldn't know), Wrike is an excellent project management system. I do not see a need for it across small businesses, where roles are wear-many-hats vs. specialized.
