Overall Satisfaction with Xactly Incent

Incent is being used in our organization to calculate commissions, communicate with sales people (their plans and their commissions) and derive reports for performance management and pay submissions for payroll.
  • Flexibility: any type of plan can be configured to calculate.
  • Simplicity and transparency for users via clean incentive statements and summary home pages.
  • Analytics capability which enables all kinds of slice and dicing of data to review product and salesperson performance.
  • Xactly as a company listens to customers and turns requests into real deployments.
  • Xactly is a very approachable company who partners with customers to deliver a best in a class set of tools.
  • User interface needs to be improved: needs to be more contemporary, Xactly is working on this.
  • Plan doc workflow needs to be slicker: too many clicks for both administrator and user currently.
  • In tool estimator needs to be slicker, estimator in SFDC works well but needs more flexibility in terms of what is shown to the user.
  • Needs an automated forecasting tool.
  • Auditability: 10 years of performance data available. Useful for performance analysis, strategic decision making, legal follow up, etc.
  • Transparency for salespeople: motivational for them to see what commissions they get, plus plan docs and terms and conditions all in one place.
  • The productivity of supporting people: we have less than 1 to 100 people supporting, cost of admin is low in low-cost countries.
  • Difficult to put a number on it, but the company makes target year on year.
Didn't compare with any others. Only Xactly available when we were choosing 11 years ago. Xactly has come a long way since!

Xactly Incent is good across all types of organizations of all sizes and all industries. It's basically for any organization that has salespeople who need to be motivated to sell! Can't think of any organization where it would be less appropriate (unless having no salespeople).
