Overall Satisfaction with Xero

Accrualify is robust spend management software that integrates with Xero. Xero customers can use Accrualify to gain the benefits of its platform and sync data to Xero in real-time. Accrualify integrates with Xero's accounts payable module that includes vendors, bills, payments, and its non-transactional data accounts. Departments, items, terms and business units.
  • Accounts payable.
  • User interface.
  • Application programming interface (API).
  • Customs extension modules.
  • Better API.
  • Subsidiaries.
  • Increased customers.
  • Saved time.
  • Improve offerings.
Xero features have a subset of the features QuickBooks Online has. Since Accrualify integrates with multiple ERP systems, we have integrated with both Xero and Quickbooks. Xero is ERP for small businesses and it really fulfills their needs to the full extent. It has good support and community around it.
Xero has all the subtle features a small business ERP should be packed with. Right from the user interface to the third-party integrations. It has good reporting features. It has a portal to give visibility of customer ERP account to its accountants and bookkeepers. This really solves the problem of manually doing the audit.
Absolutely, Xero's popularity and its growth are linked with the fact it is SAAS enabled where customers aren't required to get into the hassles of implementation, installations, and consultations which saves a lot in terms of cost and time. They can easily evaluate Xero for free and can understand if it suits their needs.
Given its space, in small businesses, it has pretty commendable integration. It npt only just provides the API for third parties to integrate but it provides SDKs for various languages (C#, Java, Node, PHP, Ruby, Python) that make the integration very easy and smooth. Xero does support most of the operations that are available through its interface.

Do you think Xero delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Xero's feature set?

Yes

Did Xero live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Xero go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Xero again?

Yes

Xero is the best fit for a small business that operates as a single subsidiary and does not foray its operations into manufacturing and require inventory as a core module. If a company's evaluating if Xero fits their needs, then it should consider if their accounting complexity increases too quickly and if there is a need to go for enterprise ERP instead.

Integrating Xero

  • Accrualify
It was easy to integrate Xero, as Xero provides a whole lot of SDKs that we leverage to integrate. We sync vendor, bills, payments, vendor credits, and other non-transactional data like accounts, terms, departments, and business units.
  • API (e.g. SOAP or REST)
Xero exposes REST API for integration and we have used it through SDK, which Xero provides for integration. They mandate oauth2 authentication, which is standard. They have nice documentation of the API that is very useful for Integration and has good support for developers to resolve and address the concerns.
We had a happy journey integration with Xero as far as the experience is with integration. No groundwork is required to integrate, as Xero provided SDKs for most of the languages. This makes it very easy to integrate with Xero. They have good developer support and good API documentation online.
