Overall Satisfaction with Ziflow

Ziflow is our validation platform for images and animations. We do internal work validation and we also use it with our clients to get our production approved. It is very useful to compare versions, add comments with annotations to images or videos, and keep track of history with our clients.

Pros

  • Automatically send validation jobs to the team and clients with email notifications.
  • Overlay mode to compare a newer version over an old one.
  • Comment and annotation tool is very easy to use and very efficient.

Cons

  • API integration (webhooks) support.
  • Workflow creation from existing workflows could be improved.
  • Amount of decision labels should be more customizable.
  • Everything stays at one place.
  • Time saved!!
  • Optimized communications with team and client.

Ziflow is more than a project history manager. It has a very powerful validation capacity. In our production field, being able to quickly and easily compare 2 versions of the same image or animation is crucial. The ability to comment and annotate an animation over time is also a huge plus.
Animation proofing: One good thing is that you can add comments and annotations over time. When you click on a comment in the comments section, it automatically brings you [to] the right timecode. You can compare versions side by side and even highlight the differences with a specific color which helps a lot.
Webpages: One proof, one URL only. Could be improved.
