Overall Satisfaction with Ziflow
We use Ziflow to upload proofs for our proofreaders to proof. We also use it for client feedback (our team members jot down the feedback through their accounts during or after meetings). Having the review process from various employees in one program keeps everything organized and flowing smoothly. In my experience, the staging function also contributes greatly to this as you can have one stage for an internal review, another for proofreading and then a final one for client.
- If your filenames are organized, the search function is a dream.
- I think the staging function makes it handy to keep things moving once one party approves.
- I think the templates are great for adding multiple people to proofs automatically.
- After big design overhauls, maybe instead of highlighting new features, old ones that may have been moved could be highlighted.
- Sometimes emails are a bit slow to receive but that could be a problem on our end.
- Improved efficiency and time saved in making proofs and adding people to proofs with staging and template features.
- Robust proofreading features for reviewers like comparing previous versions.
- In my experience, customer service is quick to help with issues or outages (which aren't often).
I think the review process is simplified from the beginning. An email will notify the reviewer of a new proof and from there if something looks off, it's as easy as clicking where and typing your comment. Once finished, the status will update and the appropriate parties will be notified and can get started on the changes. For me, the whole process is very simple and an attractive and modern interface helps too.
The comment function and status of jobs makes sure everyone is in the know and if anything changes, emails are sent out pretty quickly to anyone on a job. I've had programs in the past that required me adding each person manually to multiple proofs which can get to be a lot when you're dealing with tens of files. I think the staging and template features make creating proofs a breeze while also ensuring no one could accidentally get missed through human error when dealing with large numbers of proofs being made.

In my experience, previous programs offered a very bare bones proofing process. Ziflow introduced new features that make things so much easier and faster. Some features I didn't even know I wanted. No contest!
