Overall Satisfaction with Zoho CRM

We use it as a platform to house information of our leads and then gradually work them through until they pay and sign up for our SaaS platform. Marketing team runs different campaigns and gets us leads in the CRM. BDRs would pick up each of them as well as do some direct targeting themselves and then do the qualification. BDMs would then do the demo and close deals.

Pros

  • Basic record keeping
  • Some level of automation
  • Dashboards are relevant

Cons

  • Automation can become more modern and intuitive
  • AI tools can become more accurate. We have turned that on, but it seems very distant from actual outcomes
  • Updating and fetching records at scale is a problem
So while Zoho has a wide range of options for automation but those are like old age.
Totango has all the new age features such as web hooks, scheduled data uploads, simpler API, higher email deliverability and better UI ofcourse as compared to Zoho CRM

Do you think Zoho CRM delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Zoho CRM's feature set?

Yes

Did Zoho CRM live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Zoho CRM go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Zoho CRM again?

Yes

Definitely well suited for small and medium sized companies with <500 leads a month, a team of <10
But as you scale you will come across different needs like automation / AI / data analysis where Zoho CRM is not the best and the most intuitive.

Relationship with Zoho

The vendor made the sales process a breeze! They scored a 8 out of 10 for ease of interaction. Communication was smooth and responsive – they answered questions promptly and thoroughly. They were informative, providing clear explanations and readily addressing any concerns. There wasn't any pushiness or high-pressure tactics, making the whole experience comfortable and professional. Overall, the vendor fostered a positive and efficient sales journey.
There was lack of internal expertise to deploy. And so we had to hire a consultant to deploy the CRM. But it was not as easy or straightforward as the sales process in itself. I dont remember if they offered options to deploy it for us. But the outcome was not very awesome.
I would not be in a position to disclose this.
I would suggest to have your use case reviewed to avoid misselling or purchasing more than you would require. Also it is good to cover not only current cases but long term cases also because after 2-3 quarters you would find yourself in a position that the current solution does not meet your evolving requirements. And these systems stay for 2+ years.
