Zoom it does and it doesn't, but mostly it does.
Overall Satisfaction with Zoom Workplace
Our company uses Zoom for all video and audio communication that originates from our offices. The company recently transferred the phone system to voice over IP and Zoom was integrated into the process. Zoom is also used in both of our conference rooms. Zoom manages our voicemail and internal team messaging.
Pros
- Integrates into Outlook
- Transfers mainline calls down the answer train
- Is universally accepted
Cons
- The files generated when a video call is recorded are terrible
- customization of on-screen tools during a video call
- I'd like different outgoing voicemail options for different callers
- The landline phone was removed from my office.
- we modernized voicemail
- i don't have to give out my cell phone anymore.
They are about the same. Zoom is a separate software that has the opportunity to try new things. Teams is a free service built into the M365 ecosystem. Zoom is in the lead which means they are not as innovative as they once were, but as long as they don't screw the pooch I think they'll be okay.
