Overall Satisfaction with Zoom Workplace
My company uses Zoom Workplace for internal and external meetings, webinars, and phone. Daily we conduct client training sessions utilizing the waiting room, polls, and breakout room features. Zoom Workplace has been the highest quality, most consistent, and the best product for our company needs. We've tested other products, and always return to Zoom Workplace.
Pros
- Zoom Workplace's meeting tools, such as polls and breakout rooms have been invaluable in our work.
- All meetings always have a high quality user experience, making the learning curve very easy for non-Zoom users.
- The Zoom Cloud feature allows our Operations Team to access any client recording recorded within our company account. Which has proven to be a valuable tool time and time again.
Cons
- Sharing sound when sharing screen could be made simpler or more obvious. I've found that many folks have struggled to successfully share sound.
- It would be great to have a timer feature added to Zoom Workplace meetings. Though you can have a countdown clock visible while in Breakouts, I think it would be helpful to be able to use a countdown clock while in the main meeting room.
- I'd love to see Zoom Workplace incorporate some more interactive tools such as Menti. We love using Menti, but it does become tedious to switch from program to program.
- Our company is able to successfully conduct hundreds of meetings per week.
- We've streamlined meeting scheduling with the new Zoom Workplace Scheduler feature
- Zoom Workplace cloud has allowed us to effective store and share recordings
We've found that Zoom Workplace is much more user friendly, has features that we require for classroom sessions. And we also have had for more success using all available features in Zoom Workplace. In Teams, we've had trouble sharing documents in the chat, organizing breakout rooms and polls, as well as allowing folks to share their screen. A lot of the limitations we've found in Teams are viewed as a security feature by Microsoft.
