Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use Zoom Workplace for meetings with internal staff, external partners, and as a business phone for calls and texts. Zoom allows us to meet seamlessly together as a staff of 45 people. We also have virtual meeting rooms with a Yealink bar that integrates with Zoom so we can hold hybrid meetings very naturally.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Large meetings with a lot of attendants
Integrate seamlessly with our hybrid meeting spaces for a natural feeling hybrid meeting
Integrate with Outlook when scheduling meetings

Cons

The Zoom Phone app can be very buggy sometimes. Even though I have notifications turned on, it's very hit or miss whether my phone will actually ring or vibrate when getting a call or text.
There should be additional customization options when adding Zoom links to a meeting invite on the Outlook. I spend a LOT of time editing down all the extra phone numbers and reformatting the stock text that populates in a calendar event along with the meeting link. The text that currently populates in Outlook calendar events looks really messy and unprofessional in my opinion.
All of the menu options on the Zoom.us profile need to be cleaned up or made more user friendly.

Microsoft Teams, Skype and Zoom Phone

Microsoft Teams is probably the closest competitor, but I prefer Zoom Workplace's call quality and user experience.

Likelihood to Recommend

Zoom Workplace is great at large meetings with many attendants. It also integrates well with our hybrid meeting rooms at the office. The Zoom app on my phone is really buggy and unreliable though, so I actually just default to using my personal phone number instead for more reliability.
