Overall Satisfaction with Zoom Workplace

We use Zoom Workplace as our main platform for having virtual meetings and to work in collaboration across the various teams. It helps us stay connected in a remote and hybrid environment, streamlining meetings, messaging, scheduling, and file sharing in one place. Zoom Workplace addresses key business needs like communication gaps, meeting overload, and security, making it essential to our daily operations. We like that it works for small groups, such as one-on-one meetings, but even very large company-wide ones. Regardless of using it for a small or large meeting, the experience is pretty much the same, which helps avoid potential issues.

Pros

  • Screen sharing and whiteboard for collaboration
  • Pretty easy to use and communicate through
  • Works will within other apps

Cons

  • Some type of streamline for Q&A in large groups. It can quickly get overwhelming
  • Use of the internet. If your connection is a tad slow you have issues
  • More background options
  • Encourage better communication
  • Improved workflows
  • Speed up timelines for hybrid teams
There are some features that I would like to see in Zoom Workplace that are available in the others. I think Teams and Google are also better if your internet connection is not at full strength as well. With much of the team either fully remote or hybrid, it is nice to have dependability that you can still have the call if the connection isn't 100% perfect. I think this is the major downside of Zoom overall. But being in the call, sharing the screen and everything is preferable in Zoom Workplace over others.

I think it is really great when you are having a large webinar. You can display all the needed information for the group while controlling how much they can do to avoid issues of people talking over the speaker and being unmuted. That said, when there are a lot of questions in these big groups, it is easy to get loss in the stream of questions which means some important things might be missed.

Zoom Workplace Support

It feels like it depends on the issue you are having. Sometimes it is quick, and sometimes it is a lengthy process. Because of this, there are time that we have certain issues and we just try to figure it out on our own because we know that getting help will be a process.
