Overall Satisfaction with Zoom Workplace
We use Zoom for virtual meetings, with both internal and external participants. We also use Zoom for in-person meetings when one or more attendees are remote. We also use Zoom for phone calls. Zoom is used throughout our organization and is centrally managed by our IT department. Sometimes meetings are recorded for later reference or training.
Pros
- Transcription of audio.
- virtual backgrounds without the need for a physical green screen.
- Ease of use
Cons
- Better handling when a user has a poor internet connection
- occassionally, people are kicked out of meetings without warning
- While attending a Zoom meeting, other software on your workstation may run slower
- Allowed employees to work remotely
- Improved collaboration
Very helpful to capture meeting summaries and conversation transcriptions
The virtual green screen works better in Zoom than in Teams and the interface is easier to navigate.
