Overall Satisfaction with ZoomInfo Engage (Tellwise)

Since we are an executive recruitment firm, we use ZoomInfo Engage to identify potential candidates for our assignments for either direct recruitment or referral requests. We can also use the ZoomInfo Engage for business development/marketing when needed. The entire company uses ZoomInfo, and it has been instrumental in identifying candidate contact information, company information, and organizational charts at companies.
  • Engage allows us to find several means of contact (mobile phone, business phone, work email, personal email.
  • Engage allows us to email directly from the site and we can see when the emails are opened by the recipient.
  • Engage has the ability to create automated "workflows" so that you can email automatically, then call, etc.
  • It's cumbersome to set up templates and workflows.
  • There is an order of operations, and it's not always easy to set up a workflow.
  • I want to see candidates who may not be on LinkedIn but would be on other professional sites. I'm not sure that this is possible.
  • Setting up email templates.
  • obtaining multiple types of contact information.
  • searching via NAICS or SIC codes.
  • Creating automated workflow campaigns which include both automated emails and telephone calls.
  • We are more efficient in our day to day work.
  • We reach more people more quickly so we can complete assignments for our clients more quickly.
  • We can see when an email is opened in real-time, so we can see who is actually seeing the messages (verses them going into a junk/spam folder or being blocked by a firewall. On other platforms, you have no idea if your email has been opened or read unless the recipient responds.
I get a higher response rate from Linkedin Recruiter, but I think I can reach more passive candidates with ZoomInfo Engage. On the other hand, I did not have success with UpLead at all. Linkedin Recruiter does not have an automation feature, and you are limited to the amount of InMails you can send in a month, which is disappointing. ZoomInfo Engage customer service/technical support is hands-down better than LinkedIn.

ZoomInfo Engage has been outstanding in setting up automated workflows. It allows us to be more efficient in our day-to-day planning because once you set up a workflow, your planning for the next several days is done.

One area for improvement would be to allow other domain emails for marketing. I have my primary domain email, but when I'm reaching out to potential candidates I would rather use a different domain. This is not possible.

Using ZoomInfo Engage (Tellwise)

2 - Executive Recruiters (permanent placement of mid to senior-level executives).
1 - I think anyone can use it; it's cumbersome at first (as is any new software platform) until you use it a few times. They have real-time chat and telephone support which is critical to me. When I can't figure something out, I have several ways to get the answers I need.
  • Identifying candidates for recruitment and/or referrals.
  • Identify competitive companies based on geography.
  • Efficient automated workflows to contact candidates.
  • We also use it for business development and marketing to obtain new clients.
  • We will use it to get market intelligence to provide to our clients.
  • ZoomInfo Engage lets us see who may be more open to a conversation, we will use the feature soon.
I think the automated workflows and outstanding support are game-changers. I typically won't use a software platform that does not offer exceptional real-time support.
