If you have a lot of customer interaction with your site, where you need to collected specific, targeted, situational data, 123FormBuilder is an absolute winner. If your site is more information and perhaps leads to a software platform or other product or service, 123FormBuilder might prove unnecessarily robust for you. Something simpler and cheaper might make more sense for you. But in most cases where you're seeking to collect information from customers, I'd happily recommend 123FormBuilder.

Clicktools

Clicktools works great for gathering results from our customers attending product training. I can't think of a time I have wanted to take survey results and it has not been an appropriate tool.

Cons

  • One-off payment integration requires a higher subscription
  • Storage is not commensurate with pricing
  • Not exactly a strong negative, but could work on pricing it better for non-US markets

  • Speed - the quality of graphics is high and a lot of info is being pulled, it can take quite a bit of time to produce results.
  • I am unable to open multiple tabs to run several functions within Clicktools simultaneously.
  • Easier/more intuitive graphics uploading.
  • Run reports based on a certain factor (i.e. if there is a particular product we continuously run reports on, I would like to see a chart comparison of how that products scores have varied over time).

Clicktools has a very low cost for the high value it provides. Once integrated it is a very "leave it and forget it" solution. It integrates very fast and well with Salesforce. The low annual cost provides a large value to the company. We are very happy with this solution

It's fairly intuitive, produces a great product and the customer support is fantastic. I only lowered the score because I find that the in-depth surveys that we run most often can take up to five minutes to produce results, which can be tiring since the interface only allows me to open one window of Clicktools so I can't run multiple results at a time. When I asked support if this was an issue that could be fixed they said it was because the graphics took time to generate the data.

ClickTools is always available when I need it. The interface is quick and does not drag. Survey responses show up quickly after a survey is submitted. The survey analyzer is swift as well. There is no waiting around for something to process when you are using ClickTools.

I installed 123ContactForm myself and while I had some issues installing it I was able to visit their website and the troubleshooting information they provided in their faq section. They did offer other support if a user needed additional support, but I found the information provided on their website to be more than sufficient

If you are setting up integration with a CRM (Salesforce) get this done early on in the process. You can always do it later, but it's easiest to lay your foundation first and then build up and around it later

Alternatives Considered

I have used several contact form plugins for WordPress, they are superior to 123ContactForm in that they provide more CRM options, but in terms of ease of installation and ease of use 123ContactForm is a better option for non-development website builders, or site owners that might not be as tech-savy.

Secure, integrated with Salesforce and allows for better graphics that can be presented to customers. It produces a valuable tool for our sales team by collecting data and turning it into something that is comprehensive and easy to navigate and fun to look at, vs numbers and data gathered onto a sheet.

  • Better customer service- we have it synced to our CRM Salesforce so that customers are only getting one survey every 30 days and they have the option of leaving their information for us to contact them about a bad support/service experience.
  • The surveys give us the feedback we need to be ISO compliant.
  • The survey tool allows us to maintain and set a baseline for where our service needs to be, what needs to be improved on, and what we are doing really well.
  • We use the tool to conduct market research- the built in PDF reports make it really great for getting your results quickly and easily.
