Likelihood to Recommend ADP VirtualEdge is undoubtedly the platform that any company needs to be able to keep an exact control of the candidates and the performance of each one of them. It is important to note that ADP VirtualEdge allows the monitoring of candidates and new employees, which makes it easier to know if the new employee is meeting the skills presented in the interview. This platform has a complete order for all the résumés received and provides complete management for the new applications of candidates for a specific position. I would recommend it without a doubt, it has quick benefits.
Read full review SAP SuccessFactors is well suited for small to medium business organisations, in my opinion. It solves the purpose of being a strong yet reliable HRMS tool as it comes from the house of SAP. It gives your organisation the edge to manage employee related activities in a more synchronised manner. Large scale organisations do have an option to look at other available options as well because SAP SuccessFactors is not the best product in the market.
Read full review Pros Previously, it was more difficult to store all the resumes that we received, since there were many candidates for the jobs that we had open in our company, however, ADP VirtualEdge gave me a better handling of resumes, the platform stores all the resumes in chronological order Resumes received and this makes it easier to read each of these. I love the duplicate candidate prevention function, sometimes people make mistakes when applying for a job and this causes the application to be duplicated, this platform performs this process automatically and prevents duplicate applications, it is fantastic. It has an excellent integration with my social networks, which helps me to be able to make publications of the available jobs and also allows me to see details in real-time of the applications that I have received from those publications in my social networks. It provides me with a section where I can manage all the interviews. For me, it is one of the most important functions since I can have a much higher order for the interviews that I have scheduled. Read full review I think this product, once you have multiple modules, what we're learning is (and one of the reasons why we're expanding our use of SAP SuccessFactors) its connectivity in the way it speaks and shares information in itself in the system. That allows us to share information easily across our organization with our business partners, with our other HR professionals, and with our employees. I think it's a very user-friendly product as well. Read full review Cons One of the things I don't like about ADP VirtualEdge is that it doesn't allow me to conduct interviews online. Many other platforms that I have used in the past allowed me to conduct interviews online without having to do it in person. With the current problems due to COVID-19, this has become a very important functionality that ADP VirtualEdge does not offer me, since online interviews would be an option to avoid physical contact. Read full review I think just overall the configuration can be a little bit hard on the backend user, like myself, knowing which screens to go to. Better documentation on how we configure things would be a great resource for employees in the HR field that are making those backend changes. Read full review Likelihood to Renew We have put a vast amount of time and effort into our installation- and there is more work to be done, but the system has a lot of benefits that we plan to maximize and optimize in order to generate the greatest value for everyone involved
Read full review Usability SAP SuccessFactors is very user friendly, starting with Single Sign-on integration, then right away showing various tiles, such as organizational chart, time-off management, notifications of any review tasks, such as time-approval for team members. It has good navigation functions and language is very intuitive, so easy to understand for business users, no need to be too tech savvy.
Read full review Reliability and Availability Until now we have not had serious availability problems with SuccessFactors, we had Microsoft Active Directory and SSO with ADFS and we had availability problems but because of problems with ADFS, we migrated to Azure AD and with that the availability problems of SuccessFactors because of ADFS went away. The only windows of unavailability that we have had are those that we are communicated to do maintenance and upgrades.
Read full review Performance The performance is very good, the truth is that we have not had serious performance problems, some complex reports may take a little longer, but considering the complexity and the amount of records it is an acceptable time. We have never received a complaint from users regarding page loading speed.
Read full review Support Rating SuccessFactors Employee Central gets a middle of the road rating from me because of the things it does really well - Training. It falls short with the objectives cascade and visibility amongst my reports. That's what brings it down to a 5. Objectives need to be clear and concise in order to gain buy-in from your reports, and SuccessFactors muddies that by poor delineation between cascaded attributes and my report's objectives. The whole objectives cascade can be reworked.
Read full review In-Person Training The in-person training was with a consultancy, we have taken several courses, all very specific. They have been reports in ecp, general configuration of ec, reports and IAS
Read full review Online Training We use SAP Learning, and we like it very much, the topics are updated along with the products, we have access to the SFX customer certifications and we have done them all, in general the SAP learning platform is very good and complete.
Read full review Implementation Rating As we were new with all this, we would greatly appreciate if we had assitance directly from SAP so we can implement the modules with all of its features and best practices. Unfortunately, we notice that the partner left some thing incomplete.
Read full review Alternatives Considered ADP VirtualEdge is more specifically [for] applicant tracking and hiring whereas Workforce Now is more for human resources management. It is more specifically targeted to hiring instead of general management. It is also less supported and can take longer to get it help. Overall, it is comparable to other lower tier products.
Read full review At City, we currently use SAP on-premise applications for all HCM functionalities, and we have already implemented SF Onboarding, Recruitment, and Employee Central. Since we are long-time customers using all on-premise HCM applications, it's easy for business users to choose SuccessFactors products. We are delighted with the SAP HCM products we are currently using.

Read full review Professional Services We did use this service to do analysis of the solution being implemented. It was a good check point during the project to see if everything is going as planned.
Read full review Return on Investment We are able to hire more qualified people for each new job in our company. The quality of employees progressively improved as we hired people with better skills and better job ideas. Ease of managing candidate resumes and applications, there was no need for a manual process to manage candidates. Quick recruitment. Previously, it took us a long time to analyze and visualize the applications of new candidates. With ADP VirtualEdge we can have a faster recruitment thanks to the fact that this system automatically orders the candidates with the best skills. Read full review As far as ROI, I don't know what the investment is in the product, so I can't give you an exact number of profitability, but I can tell you for ease of use, it has been a lot easier to use the product. I think the only thing that I would prefer is instead of having the print screens, I'd prefer having video modules to explain how to use the different aspects of it.
