Qualtrics provides very similar panel manage capabilities with much better functionality.
We also have Kinesis experience. Kinesis offers a better statistical package. It is not as slick, or as easy to use. However, the technical support is outstanding. I think Vision Critical competes on its presentation capabilities, and Kinesis competes on its statistical prowess.

Vision Critical is more appealing visually but no where near as complex or robust. Vision Critical is also much more expensive though.

As described earlier in the review, I believe Vision Critical provides a fantastic survey tool. However, I think that some other tools are just as good for simply programming and deploying surveys. The thing that makes Vision Critical stand above the rest is the opportunity it …
Toluna has a much better layout and is more aesthetically pleasing, and creating a survey is somewhat more enjoyable and slightly easier, though the creation part for them could also use some work. VC does have them beat when it comes to analyzing and cross-tabbing results, …

Based on ease of use and having the most varied tools available, Vision Critical would be the best. Based on ability to higher response rates and increase engagement of respondents, Vision Critical would be the best. Based on ability to customize, Vision Critical falls short of …
It has a much, much better user interface, better customer care, and of course better pricing. This along with the fact that they were very accommodating for our use case ensured we went ahead with Appcues.
Most of these tools all promise the same thing and have similar directions. I think that Appcues is great if the budget is there and not going to be a problem. Where it really shines is it's customization and easy-to-use interface that truly makes the experience very smooth. …
We took a demo for Whatfix but thought them nowhere to be close to Appcue's functionalities. Even though I want more theming options in Appcues, it still has more variety than Whatfix. Also, to make changes to flows, Appcues is more nimble, and you can preview the resultant …
One of the things we really loved about Appcues that ultimately led us to go with them is that it has a two-way integration with Heap Analytics. We are big fans of Heap, so being able to create user segments in Heap and push them over to Appcues to show modals to was a huge …
We looked at WalkMe a while back when we started looking for a solution, but Appcues at that time made it significantly easier to use and implement. I haven't evaluated WalkMe recently, but I'm sure they've come a long way, just as Appcues has.
Appcues is much more affordable than Walkme and Pendo from our research. We were previously using Intercom, however Intercom was designed more for purely in-app messaging rather than actually providing flows and cues guiding users throughout an app. We also received lots of …
The fundamental decision for Whatfix was a management decision at the international level. The different options Whatfix offered for different systems in our company led to the decision to go with Whatfix. Basically, I am very satisfied with the decision, as the presentation of …
Whatfix and WalkMe offered a very similar solution at the time of evaluating both platforms almost 4 years ago.
We selected Whatfix as they represented better value and the flow creation process was a lot quicker and easier, meaning getting to grips with everything and …
The support from Whatfix is very good. It has better features than others. It has very few bugs. Whatfix is very user friendly. It meets all the requirements. They will quickly respond to all the queries and questions of users or your clients if they face any issues. Their …
Great quality of support provided by Whatfix as I already mentioned. Looking at all the features it’s headed to the right direction. Very delightful in terms of the ease of use and setup. Meets all the requirements. Quick to respond to all the queries and questions whenever …
Up until now we have relied on tools like Application Insights and our own internal database to track feature usage and our own internal notification tools to promote new features.
We used Userlane briefly but unfortunately, it didn't meet our technical requirements. When we moved away from Userlane we investigated AppCues, however, the range of capabilities in Whatfix was much higher so we saw more value in Whatfix.
We did not do a comparison in this case, as Whatfix was advised to us by our SalesForce implementation partner, and demos and hands \-on moments were quite convincing, combined with a good price point.
There is no comparison - Whatfix is the clear winner with us from the very beginning. As Whatfix continues to grow and innovate their product, engage with it's customers on a level beyond any I have every seen. They work as Partners with us, their teams from bottom to top are …
If you need a robust back end statistical program, this is not for you. If you are looking for a slick, interactive media survey tool it deserves a strong look.
[Appcues] is a great service for self learning a software to train people a software and to beta test software applications. I see lots of possibilities for training that people who are not great with technology using Appcues but still the pricing is not the best in the other services in the digital adoption space
Currently, we are only using Whatfix with Salesforce but are in the process of implementing on other systems. It is an excellent tool to organize and provide in-app access to training materials already created. It excels at providing guidance about tasks users don't complete often and, therefore, forget what they were trained about the process. The only sort of system it might not work well is one that provides its own robust in-app assistance. More than one type of tip icon being displayed, for instance, could be confusing.
Appcues makes the setup process extremely simple. Rather than having to build all of the cues and flows into our app, we simply installed the Appcues code which essentially lays over top our app and allows us to build any new flows we'd like and push them live without having to consult our engineers.
Appcues provides a variety of cue options to display to users. There are tooltips, slide outs and full modals. This allows us to target users on different pages without being too invasive.
Their targeting and reporting is also superb. We're able to show flows to certain users based on URL paths and other actions they've taken within our app. We can also see some great reports of users who have completed our flows and metrics on where they stopped if they did not complete a flow.
Understanding the unique needs of this new emerging market and unfamiliar business processes.
Fantastic professionalism from all the Sales team and Professional Services team, right from our first enquiry via their website.
Providing a structured onboarding process and strong project management offering which helps us feel confident we will achieve our goals with Whatfix, despite our ambitious delivery timeline.
Some things on Vision Critical allow for customization, but other pieces seem cumbersome. Based soley on the survey piece of this software, I would rate it better than most basic online survey tools (surveyMonkey or Zoomerang), but not as customizable as some of the more advanced solutions (like Qualitrics)
The tool in Vision Critical that allows you to see survey data and reports is unwieldy and complicated to use.
Design is definitely something they can improve on. The callouts and carousels are a little bit old-school and sometimes this creates a discrepancy with your product's design language.
They can improve with some functionality, like full-screen carousels for the web. There are points that they cannot accommodate your design and you have to iterate on that.
Whatfix are an absolutely stellar vendor in every way. As with all technology tools and platforms, it's important to evaluate the marketplace to see what else is on offer. It would have to be something exceptional for us to seriously consider discontinuing our relationship with Whatfix
I think there is a ton of room to improve, in things as simple as aesthetics and other areas of logical flow when it comes to creating and then launching a survey, as well as providing descriptors for what each field is referencing. For instance, there are like 5 date fields to be filled out, but no button near them that says "this date will determine _________" and I am not about to go back into the training module, which was confusing enough to FIND, let alone work through to find just ONE answer.
While they've made a lot of improvements in the last year, there are still challenges with walkthroughs and how beacons can be created. They are aware of these limitations and are actively soliciting customer feedback to help them remedy these shortcomings.
Absolutely fantastic support team. Willing to help you online through vast collection of how-to guides and resources, online via chatbox, or over the phone. Even though we were in different time zones, they were always available. Very helpful and knowledgeable
Support is very proactive and quick at solving/investigating any issue that might come up. They are very knowledgeable about their own tool and coding as well, and therefore, they quickly understand the goal you try to achieve - even doing custom code when necessary (or fixing your custom code). Even as COVID hit, Whatfix still managed to supply the same high standard of support.
While helpful, the feedback from our employee was, that [they felt] the training was very high-level - sometimes confusing. It would be great to have some kind of sandbox environment for new users to train certain scenarios.
Although Whatfix make the process relatively straightforward (they will provide Group Policy Scripts to install a Google Chrome extension specific to your organisation) its important to ensure your network deployment teams (if you have more than one) understand their role and what they need to do to test deployment once they undertaken the work.
As described earlier in the review, I believe Vision Critical provides a fantastic survey tool. However, I think that some other tools are just as good for simply programming and deploying surveys. The thing that makes Vision Critical stand above the rest is the opportunity it provides for you to easily engage with the same customers on an ongoing basis and tie their responses together over time. I love that we can manage our insight community's home page, emails to panelists, surveys, reports, and much more all from the same tool.
We took a demo for Whatfix but thought them nowhere to be close to Appcue's functionalities. Even though I want more theming options in Appcues, it still has more variety than Whatfix. Also, to make changes to flows, Appcues is more nimble, and you can preview the resultant changes in seconds.
The fundamental decision for Whatfix was a management decision at the international level. The different options Whatfix offered for different systems in our company led to the decision to go with Whatfix. Basically, I am very satisfied with the decision, as the presentation of various topics, among others for our CRM system, can be mapped more individually, specifically, and directly for the different addressees. The evaluation options are also much more extensive and detailed.
With 8 Systems the ROI is substantial, for every call saved, hundreds of dollars are saved.
Providing just in time assistance with task and eliminating the search of 15 to 20 minutes to discover how to do something not only saves time, but dollars.
Productivity increases, learning is adaptive and both are wins in ROI.
Whatfix has paid for itself - over and over again.
