Rippling gives businesses one place to run HR, IT, and Finance. It brings together all of the workforce systems that are normally scattered across a company, like payroll, expenses, benefits, and computers. This enables users to manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system. For example, when onboarding a new employee, Rippling can take a new hire from anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party…

ApplicantPro is well suited in a environment where an employer isn't hiring a ton of people - this is because ApplicantPro is built with some automation, but you do have to pay attention to each individual candidate. ApplicantPro would be less well suited for a company looking to hire a lot of people or a company where they want to post a ton of different jobs
If you are a company that has a large remote worker population, get Rippling. No more depending on users connecting to a VPN to communicate with your inventory and application management program. The agent works well, and it's supported on both Mac and Windows. If you depend a multitude or on-prem devices and servers, then Rippling may not be the best choice. Others like PDQ do a great job in an on-site environment.
The applicant tracking system UI could be improved; we pivoted to another provider with more robust features that integrates with Rippling
Functionality around manually creating checks or running edits on checks could be improved
User permissions need some work; there should be the ability to have an IT admin profile that can edit user emails without seeing sensitive comp data (we have requested this feature)
Because it is through my current job I would recommend it to other friends with businesses both large and small. It is an easy to use app and it is super helpful and beneficial for time tracking and ensuring accuracy of the time clock. It notifies you when you are close to your allotted PTO limit which is also a neat feature.
Rippling’s usability is probably the best thing about it. I say this because it’s easy to use (even for people who are bad with interfaces or not familiar with HR practices). Once you get to the homepage, it only has a few crucial tabs so Rippling spared all of us the “guess work” that most softwares usually make us go through. You don’t get lost and know how to get to where you need in a matter of seconds
I like that the availability in using Rippling at any given time is useful to me. Getting on the site freely when I need gives me security of knowing that I can be in control of viewing health insurance and hours information. I have yet to get any errors in using the Rippling app.
Rippling's performance has been great, no errors or glitches yet so far. I am confident that Going from one page to the next and all its complexity usage does not lag or times out, it works effectively and efficiently. While using Rippling and other apps it does not tend to slow it down, works great. No complaints.
Rippling has a knowledge base that is easy to use, very intuitive, and well-organized. The articles are text integrated with animations that teach the user how to configure, set up, process or complete a task. If you are unable to find the exact topic, Rippling's chat function allows you to get in contact with a specialist very quickly. In one occasion, the local treasury department had incorrectly applied withholding deposits to the company's account and created a balance due that was incorrect. Rippling's customer support worked directly with the agency and kept following up on the matter until they correctly applied for all the payments. The issue was resolved without our company's involvement.
Prior to Rippling, I was using Gusto. Gusto was a bit difficult to navigate benefits and the optimization of the servers would fail to load my benefits explanations, as well as time keeping and report approvals. It was inconsistent on when it would work well and when it would just not work at all. So far, I have not had issues with using Rippling for employee needs.
I can go on here and see all my hours and pto plus health benefits. I like to have the work handbook handy to refer to legal things. How to work my role within it's limits. Being able to put in my hours and view when they are approved is a huge benefit for me.
