Perfect for allowing employees to track their paid time off and sick days. Useful for providing job summaries, explanation of benefits. We don't use it for tracking compensation, but it could be used for that purpose. We also post job announcements on the platform which is useful for me to see what kinds of jobs we are hiring for.

The main reason for my rating is the ease of use and support from the Customer Support team. We've had a few scenarios where I've reached out to Customer Support. One of our employees had a variance in his check between payroll cycles. After reaching out to Patrick, he was able to quickly identify that the variance was due to a change in withholdings. Our employee didn't remember making any changes, so Patrick did a bit more research to confirm what may have changed. After he completed his research, he discovered that with the way the tax forms are completed now, when he updated his profile to married, it changed that setting for him. He confirmed this information within an hour of our initial interaction and it was answered clearly and concisely.

  • Reporting can be more robust.
  • More user control and real-time communication via the app would be helpful.
  • A better online calendar layout could be more efficient, but the current one is sufficient as well.

  • Easier use for bookkeepers that have more than 1 client with on pay
  • Easier to find reports
  • The print function could be improved upon. There is no check adjustment for printing checks manually.
  • Improvement of W2's that fit forms better so that they can be mailed out if necessary.
  • Improvement in taking phone calls

      OnPay is super easy to use. If I don't know something it doesn't take long to figure out just by navigating the website. If I still can't figure something out I usually "chat" with them and it's easily resolved.

      I would say support is one of the best features OnPay has. You can call, chat or email. With ADP I was always on hold for a ridiculous amount of time. They also did not have chat when I was with ADP.

      not sure this isn't part of my role we used to use Insperity premiere for booking vacation since that’s our hr/payroll system but apparently built is better for this. I’m not sure why we switched but it is fairly easy to use and customize. Insperity was harder to access.
