HubSpot beat them 10-0. We used it before we knew about Hubspot. I dont mean to trash Capsule but it was no use to me. It might help other people out there, but it wasn't adding any value to our organization. I recommend Hubspot even in my dreams.

It is difficult to beat the simplicity of use and design of Capsule CRM. Add to the fact that they offer the best free plan which is great to sign up our clients with so that they can see how valuable having a CRM is. Getting newbies to use CRM with ease helps us with our CRM projects and to sign up more clients seamlessly. Hence, it is perfect place to start with for a small business. Based on feedback from clients, who already have some premium apps to manage their sales and work orders, it can get tricky to integrate them with Capsule CRM and hence it's not that favourable in the complex IT solution use case for specific clients. Support is through messages only and it can get a bit frustating if one is in a hurry to get the setup done. It's preferred to take your time and raise support tickets as and when necessary.

I am giving it a 9 rating out of 10 because it has saved my job and helped my team to cracks very big deals. Last year, we were supposed to give a presentation to a client as we were about to sign him for a project. The client asked for our numbers in a real meeting, but we hadn't prepared them for our presentation. I logged in to HubSpot CRM and created a small report that included the relevant numbers. This turned out to be a very good decision for our company, as we subsequently signed that client.

  • Capsule is very easy to use. You can just jump in and learn as you go. There are advantages to really learning the ins and outs, but for those who aren't sold on a CRM to begin with it's good for just getting them started. It is what you make of it--you can use the most basic features or really dive in to the many functionalities.
  • The UI is clean and intuitive. We don't get easily overwhelmed while using it.
  • Capsule has a very robust contact management system. It allows for the generation of very specific lists within existing contacts, which is good if the user has to keep track of thousands of individuals and companies. There is a tagging feature that is great for further organizing contacts.
  • I like that there is a simple workflow option. I encourage the sales guys to make use of this "Tracks" feature, and they often do (but if they don't, it's not the end of the world, which is nice). It provides custom sets of tasks that are created as soon as you start an opportunity or a case.
  • Capsule has a LOT of integrations, which is great if you're looking to expand what you do with your CRM. We got Capsule just to keep track of the sales pipeline, but now that everyone's on board with the concept of a CRM (they weren't sold at first!) we can look into implementing more robust programs that can "talk to" Capsule.

  • Timeline view and conversation log is extremely helpful and an underrated feature; this is in addition to the entire user profile view.
  • Task management is simple but effective.
  • Deal and company tracking with stakeholder management inside companies / deals is very handy; we know what is happening even though we might not be directly working on it.
  • Gmail integration is quite smooth along with email tracking.

  • Its integration with Mail chimp is not smooth. Also, it does not allow to list contacts alphabetically which is a great downside of this tool. It does not contain some essential marketing features.
  • It needs to improve the user interface and make it more productive especially on the calendar view.
  • The contact sorting is quite disappointing. It would be nice if it allows users to set screen filters.

  • More of an integration issue I think than a problem with HubSpot CRM, but we have AirCall integrated for direct phone lines and synching with individual users for outbound calls. Opening Aircall to make an outbound call automatically generates a new client - unattached to a company record as an orphan.
  • Historical records with activities is awesome but when creating a deal it isn't always a choice to capture last 30 days of history. When it is an option and you click to add that to a deal you can see all the activity items and people who have done anything with the "file".
  • I would like to see more native options for automation.

Thus far, our company has found HubSpot CRM to be a reliable service that serves its purpose well: a centralized business contacts database, accessible remotely, with a simple and visually-pleasing interface. Issues are non-existent or resolved quickly, and when the service is experiencing interruptions, notifications and/or updates are sent regularly.

One of the most effective tools for managing our business solutions and supply chains is adding this tool to our system to see the fantastic results of effective management. Because when I needed help HubSpot responded immediately and provided me with the information I needed which enabled me to realize that HubSpot was even more customizable and easier to use than I thought! And I already thought HubSpot was very user friendly and easy to use, and then Support showed me how to manipulate the settings, columns and the appearance of the tool.

If you've had any prior experience with cloud based marketing automation or group communication tools, you can do the implementation without paid outside support. Though getting to a SLA (service level agreement) would be best achieved with the help of a third party who can facilitate

We chose Capsule CRM over Zoho CRM due to the various modules that it would take for Zoho CRM to work for our firm. Additional Zoho modules would have been needed (Zoho CRM and Projects) to make it work for us which in turn requires additional management. With Capsule CRM, there was only one app that needed to be integrated within our app ecosystem

We've been using Hubspot for years and don't foresee making any changes away from it. It has been fully integrated into how our business operates. We ultimately selected HubSpot CRM because it had all the features and functions that our marketing, sales, and operations teams wanted. And it offered those features and functions at the right price point for our organization.

  • It's enabled us to have a cloud-based live database, rather than living off spreadsheets or an antiquated Access database
  • It's hard to really quantify ROI on a small startup, but it's been very helpful to have a small scale but powerful CRM as we grow the company.
  • Since we don't use it entirely as it's intended, the terminology and shortcuts are a bit confusing.

  • The leads were contacted within 24 hours so lead drops were minimum.
