We've used FormStack and Form Assembly, as well as Google Forms. None of them came close to the capabilities of Caspio Bridge. Form Assembly was the best of the rest, but had very limited options. We've also used in-house forms developed in PHP by our own DBAs. Those are fine, …

In the short run, ProcessMaker blows KiSSFLOW away. It is easy to understand and use. But in the long run, once you get into more complicated actions, they equal out. The price was right, and while we eventually went for another option, ProcessMaker would have been the next …

It is far cheaper than JIRA. I have used JIRA , the UI is good as compared to processmaker. But compared to workflow designing and management, I found processmaker far easier. And yes ProcessMaker requires less resources to run on.

Caspio is excellent when you are looking to not only have a CRM but even more. We utilize many of the features to now having our membership forms, adding new member varieties connected with Caspio which we had to manually add ourselves. Our search button for new varieties and display gardens, as well as combination designs, are all done through Caspio. Caspio has really helped us become more efficient and now part of the 21st century!

I loved it. You will not get an easier interface. You can develop workflow processes in a simple way, one which allows anyone to understand what you are trying to accomplish; however, you will get into some issues if your employees are scared of coding (when you get to the advanced features). For some, this will never be an issue as the knowledge you need is very basic. But for the school I was working with, it would have stopped them cold

Pros
  • Easy to use.
  • Excellent help when needed - never says the questions are too small or "stupid."
  • Can continue to add new data pages and uses all the time.

  • Connecting activities across applications which are not part of the core landscape (e.g. Excel, MS Teams)
  • Being able to identify activities being performed such as typing into a form, reading content on pages, or navigating between pages in an application.
  • Identify copy / paste events, including the source system / application being copied from and the target.

Cons
  • While I do think Caspio is easy to use, it wasn't at first. Making the user interface a bit friendly would be great!

  • Complications when you get to the more advanced pieces. When trialing, I found that the more advanced a process got, the more complicated it got for me in coding. When you begin using the more advanced features, you will find that you need to have a basic knowledge of coding - otherwise you won't go any further. This was my sole issue. Unfortunately, it was one that would have brought the school to a grinding halt if they were to ever get more complicated than they were.

We are committed to Caspio Bridge. We could migrate to another product, but we would not be able to do so quickly. I estimate that we would need about a year (maybe more) to convert all of our forms and processes if we were to switch to some other product

I gave this overall rating for ProcessMaker due to its overall flexibility, design and ease of use for most. Support Rating
I've had some instances where my team and I discovered a bug in Caspio. We alerted the company, and the bug was fixed in the next regular update of the software. The few times that I've had to contact support, it was a pretty good experience. They're not terribly quick to respond and take action, but they don't ignore you, either.

I gave this rating for the adaptability and growth for Processmaker for its many capabilities for support and flexibility. • For over 10 years Caspio has been a great tool by allowing our users to retrieve data they have submitted in the past to update data to be used for current surveys.
  • The system is used by over 80% of our users instead of the usual online forms.
  • Fees have always been low, especially helpful for a small department of 3 members. Always reliable and affordable.

  • I'm using Communication edition to introduce BPMN in my organization. I can build the first process in a short time, make my boss more confident with my job.
  • But, with ProcessMaker, we need more time to design code to handle the process, and without PHP/Javascript Programmer, it seems hard to work with more and more processes online.
  • However, IE Browser is not well supported, somewhat let the user confuse.
