Cience is well suited for providing building blocks when you are starting with very little. They took the time to learn our unique product and weren't hesitant to jump on an account for a less than traditional ICP. If you are looking to outsource sales, just be prepared to be an active voice in the partnership.
I loved incorporating and practicing "the mantra" in my presentations and business meetings. The discovery flow is really intelligent as well because you first get a sense of where the team currently stands with their business challenges, then are able to speak to your product later. The whole idea of mapping specific services to a company's issues, using their own language and metrics, is really paramount to build rapport and see if it's possible to solve their business problems
There isn't much to say here for me from a feature or functionality perspective. We've always had a very seamless interaction with CIENCE from a technology standpoint. I have to admit that I am typically the bottleneck if things ever get stuck because our team at CIENCE usually has to push me to get materials and documentation for our campaigns.
We once ran into a slight issue with the timing for our contract renewal. I needed to pause our service because of a large deal we acquired, and I needed to save some extra funds to ensure we could prepare for it properly. I was technically too late to put the pause in time based on the dates in our contract. However, the CIENCE team worked closely with me to come up with a creative solution that was understanding of my challenging situation at the time, while also favoring our long-term partnership rather than short-sighted revenue gains.
The process outlined was exactly what we were looking for (hand holding before, during and ongoing) and was right on in terms of what we needed for implementation. We were successful in identifying the team from CIENCE who would be dedicated to Manifest and were able to have all levels of both companies involved in the implementation process.
We chose CIENCE because we were impressed with the technology it was built on for lead-generation, the quality of leads proposed to us, the targeting capabilities, and campaign execution strategies. Nobody has been better suited to our service capabilities modeling and needs of the organization.
FM is geared towards the Enterprise sellers and although it has a few modules for the Business Development Reps, we also needed to bring in Sandler Training in conjunction with FM to ensure our BDRs were reaping these benefits as well. Another unfortunate issue we noticed with FM was the out-of-box integrations available and we would have sync issues with SFDC
Terrible waste of money. Just starting out we want to use our funds the most effective we can. This had ZERO ROI and was a waste of time.
They ask for a three-month upfront payment and gave us nothing back. While this is the risk we take with no guarantees, you would expect a reputable business to offer something for a performance so poor. A free month to try and make things right by providing a few leads, or some small amount of refund, something. Their response was to tell us they did nothing wrong and they would not even consider anything.
The good reviews from this company are baffling to me. I reviewed them before starting and felt they must be reputable. The truth is the onboarding process took 30 days even though we provided them with everything before it started. They charge for this ramp-up time even though nothing of substance is happening.
Within two weeks of the campaign starting our Cience team had lost over half of its original members due to attrition. 3 out of 5 of their members left the company
