C2CRM has totally modified the way we used to manage our sales and marketing. We can now manage the budget and proposals using it. Also, its interface is simple and navigation through this software is very smooth. Its reporting tool is so precise and possesses all the details. What is not appealing about this software is its price which is sky-high and unaffordable for us. But if someone is looking for a tool to manage their sales, C2CRM is the perfect one for managing customer relations and satisfaction.

I would suggest that any small business from 1 - 25 employees take a look at Keap. Whether you're selling services or products, whether you sell with a sales team or completely online, Keap has solutions that can help your business run so much more efficiently. On top of that, the follow-up and marketing tools will help you convert more traffic to leads and more leads to customers.

  • Campaign Builder - as I’m a visual person, the ability to map out and build automation on not only sales and marketing funnels, but internal processes as well. This has been a game-changer to setup automation and we continue to reap the rewards years later.
  • CRM - using it as a CRM has allowed me to have a single source of truth for my leads and customers to collect info on, add notes, track and trigger automation savings hours every week, and help prevent leads from falling through the cracks.
  • Innovation - they were one of the first in the market and are still innovating to make the product better.

  • It possesses all the features we needed most, but there should be remote access and asset management too.

  • Keap is almost infinitely customizable, and it is VERY powerful, and I think all that potential can overwhelm the new user. The key is to start small and simple - even little automations can make a huge difference.
  • My business is simple enough that I find Keap's reporting sufficient, but I hear from other business owners that they would like more/different reports.
  • The state-by-state, regional and municipal sales tax thing can get complicated, but I hear they are working on it.

We have invested a lot into Infusionsoft and are using it to automate our processes and marketing. Changing CRMs would have a HUGE cost for us and based on our evaluations, the grass isn't greener elsewhere. Infusiosoft fits most of our needs and is slowly getting better each year. Their support is great and we will continue to use them until something much better comes around or our company outgrows a small business CRM.

You do need to spend some time on-boarding and implementing the software in order to have full functionality. We were lucky - we had colleagues at the university with experience with Keap and then hired an intern familiar with the software to get us set up and ready to use it. We've had some functionality issues with it along the way and that has frustrated myself and the other uses in our department.

This training is taught often to the lowest common denominator so as to help as many customers of theirs as possible. We do the training and coaching and implementations for our clients. But clients who I know who have been to their training get trained well. The gap that can exist lies in you doing your part and really investing in using and building out the application.The training and education is only as good as your willingness to apply it.

Keap

Keap is in a little bit of a different league as it's more of an all-in-one but there are similarities and differences that are worth comparing. Keap is a more comprehensive tool where you're getting most of your key business management features ranging from invoicing to email marketing and everything in between. One of the biggest benefits to the solo CEO or business owner with a small team is the ability to eliminate the cost of all those other applications. What's lacking in Keap that you'll find in the other CRMs (like Pipedrive and Zoho specifically) is reporting, customizable views and dashboards, and better role-based permissions and controls. This is specifically referring to Keap Pro and Max (not Keap Classic).

Pricing is user and email and function based. Way too many pay walls and not native function for scaling. It's scaleable with NASA level marketing automation talent you must pay to engage. Otherwise, it gets expensive quickly for scaling to a true small business, which is what they target. Over 25 users and you're screwed. Look at the competition first, evaluate what you really need for your business and start there. Keep it simple, build your cash flow and confidence in the people you hired to make this work and then scale. Don't get sucked into the dream that this thing will help you sell your book to millions and you get famous while hanging on your boat or whatever. Building a small business is hard enough. Adding software often adds complexity in order to successfully scale.
