The Epicor Eagle N Series is Epicor's present comprehensive retail software system built around features such as multichannel sales, a point-of-sale system, and inventory and merchandising management.
None are available on the list. Clover competes with HotSauce, Paradise, Poynt, and many more POS systems. We easily sell Clover more than anything else and everyone loves it. It's easily one of the best products I've seen since I have been in integrations. The sales managers …
We chose Clover without doing extensive research in other offerings. It seemed to meet all of our needs and was used extensively in other retailers. Other processing systems were limited in functions and back-office management.
Clover has just the right combination of affordability with extra features and flexibility that isn't offered by some cheaper options. Clover is flexible enough to allow integration with Shopify and other useful retail technologies, as well as integrating with many payment …
While both of them get the job done, Clover is far easier to use than Aldelo. It actually feels like a POS system meant for the 21-century smartphone era while Aldelo feels a little deprecated. Clover is also far more affordable than Aldelo. It also looks better aesthetically.
Of the few other companies we had the option to use, BluePay's fee structure is the best for our business. Even though PayPal is ubiquitous and we still accept donations through PayPal at times, we got better rates through BLuePay and much easier transaction settlement.
Clover is great because they have their own equipment, but it would be nice to make it more mobile and use it on an app from anywhere. Sometimes we go to events and have to use Square, which is another great option. For small businesses I would definitely recommend using …
Retail Pro is a perfect of example of a full featured POS system that can do lots of things right. Unfortunately to deploy Retail Pro will require a project team and skilled consultants who will happily bill you for the time spent on the project. You will also only use a small …
We initially chose BluePay because they had purchased the company that we used for our online payment processing and sales applications. To remain with our previous provider would have required costly updates but BluePay was fully integrated and allowed for a very smooth …
I have used Horizon Retail Solutions, Microsoft Dynamics GP, and Eagle N Series. Eagle has been the best option of the three by far. By being fully integrated as one product, Eagle N Series keeps track of every transaction on an individual level. While I did prefer some of …
We were already Eagle customers when a guru from our parent company recommended we switch some of the computers on the system over to N Series. Now that I primarily use N Series, it is especially when I find myself on a computer that does not have it, that I realize how much …
We have only looked at a few. None of the systems we looked at compare to the Epicor. The support team at Epicor is outstanding. The product performs great and we have been with Epicor for so many years, it doesn't make since to trust our business to any one else.
All other systems are much more open, and have many more nice, visual features for the user. They are also much more flexible in configuration, which you can do easily by yourself or with an implementation partner. In our experience, support of Eagle is very limited and not …
Epicor is very customized for our business and business model. It has greatly enhanced our ability to perform daily duties. Microsoft Dynamics would give us a better back end accounting system and some reporting tools that we wanted but wasn't going to provide us the necessary …
Clover is well suited for high-volume environments where quality and dependability are paramount. The hardware can scale easily and always looks good on the counter. I have even seen Clover hardware used in small mom-and-pop type stores. The ability to swing the monitor around for signature is really nice. Customers appreciate the ease of use. The stations we have to use nice large bright screens. Not familiar enough with the Clover product line to know if the smaller screen sizes are available for applications where space is a concern.
Epicor Eagle is well suited for a retailer who wants to grow and learn the wide ability of the software. You need to invest the time to learn the tools and use them to grow. It is not for the retailer who is simply looking for a cash register. It is truly a business management tool.
Epicor Eagle N Series helps us immensely with our record keeping for our customers and vendors. I would hate to have to do all the research with the assistance of Epicor when a customer/vendor calls and request help with their account.
I really appreciate how Epicor keeps everything in a date/time order due to the situations that occur when a credit card user requests verification of their purchases/person who signed on their account. This make it so much easier to recall and verify (and lots quicker, too)!
It is a great help that Epicor gives us with our inventory. We don't have to do a large inventory search (most of the time) and it is quite accurate!
The Point of Sale usage is amazing (even with all the human errors that occur)! This comes in very handy with recalling a sale when someone is trying to do a refund, too.
Eagle N series is a great tool. It really compliments the Eagle 4 Windows. The additional features are really nice to have. You can never have too much information. It helps me make better, wiser decisions. Eagle N allows compass functions without having to leave what function I'm in and see the additional information. GREAT TOOL!
There are numerous aspects to Clover's usability: the usability of their point of sale systems, the usability of their CRM and web dashboards, and the technical side of integrating with other third-party services. All are top tier. Clover's usability is excellent and I have never had a problem figuring out how to use their services at any level. The POS system has a very low barrier to entry and an easy learning curve for newcomers.
There is a lot of information provided in Epicor. From Simple viewers to detailed information for the owner of the company, there is a lot of information. Also, let me mention, the Audit information. From a simple sku change to deletions, everything is recorded in an audit trail. It really helps to stop a thief or simply help you see what you did so you can undo it. Epicor also has a great security system. Their security bits allow you to decide who can perform what function. There are a lot of options to the funtions. This allows you to customize functions to your operation. We are not all alike!
We didn't have any significant complaints about their support. As we transitioned out of BluePay to a new provider that partnered with our new CRM, they were able to help with that transition. However, it was a little slower than we'd have liked.
When I call in for support, they connect to my problem, view my computer with me and walk me through a solution and fixing the problem. They educate you and explain in simple terms what they are doing, how and why they fix it. This way, you understand and feel more confident moving forward and I am more efficient using the functions next time. They really are very patient.
The process, from my point of view, was handled very well. It was a smooth transaction with lots of support both on site and by phone. All questions were answered and everything was explained each step of the way. A lot of information and support were provided including decisions on options and securities.
We initially chose BluePay because they had purchased the company that we used for our online payment processing and sales applications. To remain with our previous provider would have required costly updates but BluePay was fully integrated and allowed for a very smooth transition with little to no disruption for our employees or customers. After making the switch, we were so glad that we did. Our account rep has been so helpful and responsive, even going to the level of creating and scheduling custom reports to allow our users to do their jobs more easily and efficiently. We've also been pleased to see our overall fees/interchange go down from what we were charged by our previous providers. Overall, we have been very pleased with the service and services provided.
I have used Horizon Retail Solutions, Microsoft Dynamics GP, and Eagle N Series. Eagle has been the best option of the three by far. By being fully integrated as one product, Eagle N Series keeps track of every transaction on an individual level. While I did prefer some of the reporting in Dynamics GP, Eagle N Series gives me more confidence in the financial performance of our company.
