When it comes to a full-scale virtual event there is no out-of-the-box or one size fits all solution. Every client virtual conference is different and there are dozens variables depending on your particular goals, content strategy, engagement needs and requirements. Pricing typically includes (a) the license for the hosted virtual event software that provides highly customized and engaging environment (b) project management and set up support (c) webcast presentations (d) 3rd party integrations (e) dozens of other options. Annual plans are available to host multiple events.

Communique Conferencing would be best suited for mid- to large-sized organizations that require reliability, scalability, and high data security. They can definitely support large-scale events that are customized to reflect the event's brand and objectives. You can go the self-service route or engage their project team as much as you need.
Communique Conferencing is less suited for small, basic Zoom style events.
I believe for the first time user with a small group of people setting up an event, [the Hubilo] platform and the support you receive from their team is wonderful. We really had 3 people doing most of the set up and had we not had our own self-imposed short period of time, would have found it very easy. Even with a short turn around from the time we signed the contract to the time we went live (1 week), we felt very happy with the end product.

Hopin is very suitable for large events involving 100+ people where there are only a couple of people speaking. You can have a bunch of features such as networking and all in all, is quite a professional experience to use. For smaller groups, It takes too much effort to set up and isn't worth using over Google Meet or Zoom.

The biggest hangup we've encountered is from guest speakers who need to join us on either tablets or smartphones. Hopin doesn't play well with mobile devices for onscreen guests.
I'd like to see the broadcasts in vendor booths be recordable in the way broadcasts in the sessions or on the stage are.

Usability is critical with virtual events both for our team to set up and administer as well as for our attendees. Communique Conferencing is easy for our team to administer. We survey our attendees during and after virtual events. The feedback regarding usability is very positive.
As I mentioned before, good content overall. Gets very laggy and buggy at times. Several issues with limited or low internet connectivity, can get almost unbearable at times. I'm a pretty tech-savvy person but I still feel that Hopin was pretty user-friendly even for those of you who are less tech-savvy. Great thing is, you can play around and test the platform with the free version which allows you to get familiar with it before committing to the paid. I learned most of it on the free version which then made me more confident when deciding to use the paid version. Not only did it help me on the setup side, but it also proved to me that this was what we needed to do what we needed to do.

For the most part you're able to get a response from a support person within a few minutes, but there was a stretch when Hopin was reshuffling its staff that it sometimes took 24-48 hours, which is too long. However, as long as the staff remains stable - which seems likely - then its Support team is usually quite responsive.

Hubilo offered greater customization features and more AI-tools for post-event content creation. Their platform was designed to build communities before and during events with great engagement and networking features for all attendees. Other platforms we explored were rigid and cookie-cutter. We liked Hubilo's long list of things to customize to build great 1-day or multi-day online events. Hubilo was extremely budget-friendly :-)
We were with a company before Hopin - we explored elsewhere due to cost. Pros were design and custom look. We moved to Hopin, it was innovative at the time, although the design wasn't strong the features were. The majority now have the same features. So we did leave Hopin for another platform again because we wanted a custom look, and we were preparing for hybrid. Hopin wasn't ready. We soon realised other platforms we came across are complex, difficult to use. We left and came back to Hopin.

We always get positive feedback regarding the platform on our attendee surveys.
Their incredible support team saves us time and money. For example, there was a problem with a live stream at our last event. Although the problem was not on Communique's end, their experienced tech support team were able to provide insight that helped the on-site production company quickly isolate and resolve the issue.
Without Hopin, it would have been impossible to host an event at the scale and user interface that we did, with the staff limitations we have. Hopin enabled us to execute a very high standard with limited resources. For example, before Hopin, we could only attract about 100-200 attendees. With Hopin, we 3x our registrations and attendees.
The data collected from their system on attendees allows us to more accurately speak to our target market based on their tracked habits during the event.
