Likelihood to Recommend Experience where Dashlane is well suited. A remote work environment organization with many remote employees needs a secure way to store and share passwords. Dashlane's cross-platform functionality and secure password sharing enable users to access necessary accounts without compromising security. The area where Dashlane is less appropriate. Highly restricted offline environment- Sometimes, an organization operates in a highly secure environment with limited or no internet. Dashlane requires the internet to work, so an offline mode may be a significant upgrade.

ManageEngine Endpoint Central is fantastic for a set and forget patching tool. This is great for the Windows clients that we have and provides good reporting and ensures machines are kept up to date and gives us good reporting on which machines are vulnerable in our organisation. Linux machines are not as well handled due to the multiple flavours of Linux that are out there. ManageEngine Endpoint Central only manages specific versions of Mac and Linux so it is best to check compatability ahead of time.

Patch Management is very easy to use and deploy patches each month Inventory Reporting is straight forward with multiple premade reports available Remote Connections are very simple to use, it only takes 15 seconds to find and connect to a device. Software Deployment and the Self serviceportal give you multiple ways of deploying your apps. Read full review Cons The software will often mix up some of the passwords we use on sites that have similar addresses. Some users have complained that the interface is confusing. We build web forms within a web-based application. The software does not do a good job of ignoring fields on those forms and tries to auto-populate information into them while we are building them. More granular access level controls for technicians (restrictions for juniors) on the Mobile Device Management add-on Monitoring mobile data usage on mobile devices, this has been in the product pipeline for 5 years, but not yet implemented Ability to remotely support company-owned mobile devices with no end-user permission. End-user needs to allow the remote session, when sometimes that's what we don't want since we're doing an investigation. LastPass and
1Password , as well as iCloud Keychain (now Passwords in iOS 18).
LastPass is terrible; the interface/experience is bad overall.
1Password is much better than
LastPass but is too robust, and the Apple Keychain/Passwords App is a little too simple. I'm a former Apple and a fanboy, so if and when they improve the Passwords app and bring in the stored payments/secured notes and password generator into the app itself, it'll be the app to beat for Dashlane for me. For my enterprise usage, though, Dashlane is the clear winner.

Great product, very easy to use. Does exactly what we want without any fuss. The interface could be a bit more modern and less cluttered but overall functionality is excellent. Once you're familiar with the menus it's easy enough to get around and do what's needed. We're very happy with the product.
Read full review Support Rating We've had no issues with Dashlane. I can't speak to their customer service because I have not personally needed to contact them. I guess that speaks about their product if we've not had any issues to reach out about. Great for supporting data/information on multiple platforms that are shared among team members.

The local distributor of the product is always available, however most support is received within an hour from India. We've had complex requirements and the support team went so far as to customize their mobile application to suit our unique needs. We honestly can't complain about any support we've received and it's always been very quick.
Read full review Alternatives Considered Dashlane’s customer support is often rated higher, providing more responsive and helpful assistance.
LastPass has a slightly steeper learning curve than Dashlane, but it offers more flexibility with user permissions, which can benefit teams. Dashlane includes unlimited passkey support and a clean breach history, while
LastPass is more accommodating for smaller teams.

WSUS (provided by Microsoft) is a MUCH inferior product, no flexibility at all, updates when it wants and how it wants and was generally not suit for purpose. In addition, endpoint offers all the other functionality that WSUS doesn't (as said earlier in my review, remote control, endpoint security and much more).
Read full review Return on Investment Dashlane tremendously enhances our firm's security of sensitive data on the individual and team user levels. Utilizing Dashlane dramatically simplifies onboarding new team members. We can easily share key information and confirm that the new members have access to the things they need, reducing the time needed to complete the onboarding process. When offboarding a team member, Dashlane is equally essential to our team. It allows us to ensure that key credentials and information are shared with the right team members and that parting members can download their personal data and transition to their own accounts with minimal stress. As a small firm, Dashlane allows us to manage our sensitive data effectively without the expense of a separate IT team. This gives us peace of mind and confidence to focus our resources on other tasks. Read full review ManageEngine, A Div of Zoho Corporation Pvt Ltd
