the goal and review cycle alignment was superior to others. the price point was within our budget. And the employee recognition wasn't too over the top but also wasn't boring. we also looked at the clear company and a few others
We used SharePoint Forms to make customized forms for ourselves but it did not work well. Our IT needed to build a system from scratch with a help of an external developer team and they were simply not capable of creating something that complicated. Engagedly already has a …
I don't like using LinkedIn because it is too personal and not private enough, also recognition gets lost after you post it. With Preciate, the employee or person can take the recognition along with them at their next role or job. I also think that the company stands for some …
The only tools that are close are Slack and chatter, which to me are not as useful or user-friendly, nor do they allow you to take the recognition and connections with you. I am confident that Preciate's platform helps you to build real and long-lasting relationships.
Engagedly has a huge range of possibilities and we chose it because of all the functionalities it offers. I'm not marking my rating a 9 or 10 because of the UI. If you're an active user (e.g. in the people department) then you get used to the UI fast enough. However, if you only use it twice per year (like all our other users) it can be difficult to find what you need. That being said, Engagedly offers a truly broad range of HR-related functionalities and we're very happy about that!
If you have a fast-growing team that is on the same training journey, it allows you to see who is and who is not engaged. I carefully measure who participates in consistent recognition and discussions, and my findings so far are that there is a correlation between recognition and engagement. Most of my least engaged employees when it comes to Preciate recognition assignments or suggestions tend to also be the lowest-performing reps when it comes to metrics or results. I am currently measuring the top users to see what affects recognition has on morale and enthusiasm.
Goal setting: Ability to set individual OKRs, department, business unit, and top-level department OKRs; ability to align goals by level, ability to see goal hierarchy, and see how individuals making progress in their OKR impacts the overall company progress.
Performance reviews: ability to set cycle and customize each cycle, manage cycle at the same time or independently; ability to invite external reviewer (outside of the organization) is a huge benefit.
Learning: All learning courses can be hosted in the system and assigned to individuals or groups; ability to run reports
Analytics and reporting capability: the new interface improves this capability a lot. Data can be zoomed in and out and presented visually for employees and managers
Notifications - it would be better if individuals can customize what notifications to receive
Project review function - it would help if we can set up a review form that can be used any time of the year as many times as the reviewer want to use with more structure than the current feedback function (such as rating scale etc.)
It would be helpful if the mentor meeting function is included, not additional.
The reason I gave this rating as Engagedly shows us the tasks that are pending with the due date and also if the due date is nearing it sends us reminder emails to make sure we do not miss it. It is also helpful for new associates to know more about the organization hierarchy as documents are right shown on the home screen.
Absolutely! We love engagedly because we haven't faced any kind of lagging or such issues in website. It also has a convenient app through which you can access everything. They are very polite and address to each and every query relating to software which may cause hinderence in the process.
Preciate is always ready to help with questions or problems. They are good at follow up and also being proactive when new versions or upgrades are released. They also do a great job putting useful information on social media like LinkedIn and Twitter, that information is useful when we have an issue. Additionally, they have been really good at taking our suggestions and incorporating them into future builds and versions.
