Frontline is well suited for an organization such as a school district where teachers sometimes need to put in for a substitute at the last minute or especially early in the morning. The system also helps with substitutes in picking up the jobs when a teacher puts in an absence.

I was in search of an application where I can manage all employee and HR related queries and data together. We were using different Excel files to manage it. It was not so accurate and we do each entry manually. The accuracy is always hampered and it causes data mismatch every month. Randomly we get a reference to riplling and it solves all our problems accurately. The ease of doing and the user friendliness is superb. The integration is much easy than others. Report generation is much easier. Manage the data at a single platform becomes more easier. Report generation, employee attendance, leave management, profile management and other HR related works becomes more easier and accurate. Really a beneficial tool to manage everything easily. You can get all in one solution in this application.

  • They notify myself and our employees of documentation requests, decisions made on requests they officially make.
  • Rippling handles the onboarding of new employees sending to them the necessary documents to be compliant with the business, state and accrediting agencies. They have direct portal that these items can then be uploaded to. So intuitive and streamlined. Love it.
  • Rippling offers many services and we have taken advantage of several of these. The ability to have one entity that manages so many facets of our business is so helpful. No longer wondering who is responsible for what documentation or what business hours are for someone who handles our HR. Now, it's all in one place and highly efficient.
  • Efficient. It's a word I use a lot when asked about Rippling. They have saved us time, and eliminated our errors which also cost time and money. This is a game changer for us. Not to mention a relief on the nerves.

  • Teachers cannot cancel their own absence. We have to ask the office staff to do so. This is irritating when an absence must be canceled (Due to a canceled professional development, for example).
  • Sometimes absences go unfilled. It would be great if AESOP could have a roster of qualified substitutes to cover absences.
  • You cannot assign your absence to a particular substitute if you know he or she is available and a good fit for your absence.

  • Maybe many options are hidden and you need to do many clicks to find them. But anyway, all the settings are correctly arranged.
  • Sometimes are options that appears like available but actually are not enabled based on your permissions, so that will need to be more accurate to avoid misunderstandings.

While we have had minor issues logging in as our organization has its own login page, the site and its application are very easy to use. So long as members of a group log in through the appropriate page, navigating and using this site is quite easy. With the transition from Aesop to Frontline, the page also seems to have worked through any glitches found with the previous page and its app.

As I explained, Rippling is very easy to work with. I can maneuver through the app very easily to find anything I’m looking for. It is a very smooth process for everything. They send alerts and reminders for the things that need to be completed. Rippling is a great tool.

There have been several times the system was unavailable. When there has been an issue, Frontline HAS NOT notified us....which has been disappointing.

I like that the availability in using Rippling at any given time is useful to me. Getting on the site freely when I need gives me security of knowing that I can be in control of viewing health insurance and hours information. I have yet to get any errors in using the Rippling app.

I am confident that Going from one page to the next and all its complexity usage does not lag or times out, it works effectively and efficiently. While using Rippling and other apps it does not tend to slow it down, works great. No complaints.

Internal support is provided by EDU Staff based out of Grand Rapids. Whenever I have had an issue they are very responsive to my needs. For instance, there may be conflicts in the amount of money that was listed for the contract. There may be questions about the length of an assignment such as 1/2 day, full day, or early dismissal. The school will sometimes enter the wrong information. Very good IT support, but sometimes you are on hold for 5 to 10 minutes because they do not have enough workers in their Call Center

Our Implementer/Trainer was a product line expert. He (Connor) walked us through every step with confidence and explained everything in detail. Frontline provided written documentation, cut-n-paste emails to staff, and a test environment for us to play in. We were able to test unique scenarios without actually sending emails, notifications, alerts to staff. This was very useful.

It's really easy to implement in comparison to other tools or applications. Different key points are easily configured and implemented as per need, having different configurations in systems. Implementation is something which binds the different parameters of an organization in a single row. Implementation of rippling is much easier, quicker, and error free than any other software. I recommend it strongly!

Frontline seems to be the industry standard for this software in the education industry. I am not familiar with any competitors or what was evaluated prior to implementing Frontline. For it to be the industry standard, I would assume that its cost is fair in relation to competitors and that the onboarding process is simple.

Rippling stands up directly against the larger and more well known competitors in ADP and Workday. Rippling has a much more intuitive layout than both ADP and Workday. This may seem like a small complaint but I do not like the color scheme of Rippling compared to that of Workday but that is not enough of a negative to need to pay more and be less intuitive for the team

Our district has approximately 300 substitutes & 1,800 employees. Size has never been an issue with Absence Management. There are other districts much larger using Absence Management with no problems

I can go on here and see all my hours and pto plus health benefits. I like to have the work handbook handy to refer to legal things. How to work my role within it's limits. Being able to put in my hours and view when they are approved is a huge benefit for me.

  • It's given staff direct access to inputting their absences and secure coverage quicker, whereas before they had to make a call to a person. That person had to secure coverage for the entire district at different levels. Sometimes that person was absent or unable to provide coverage.
