We have been able to use Genesys Voice AI conversation BOT to address customer standard queries like check upcoming appointment schedules, reschedule appointments, payment status, bill copy. All these use cases were handled by agents earlier and now this has been completely automated. We are now able use agents for complex tasks and provide standard services 24/7 which earlier had agent dependency.

ZoomInfo chat is a very good tool for user engagement on the website and lead conversion. It's a very good tool that provides live chat, chat boat, and also a meeting scheduler so that customers can choose the preferred time to discuss with the sales team. It's very good for improving the productivity of the sales team and acquiring quality customers.

  • It is really great at integrations. We were able to plug in Slack without breaking a sweat. And it works really well with our other tools as well.
  • Implementation and setup was very easy and smooth. I actually anticipated it to be a lot bumpier but I was surprised at how quickly and smoothly it went.
  • They have a great support team too. Anytime we have gotten in touch with them, we have had a great experience.

  • Although documentation is generally good, new features are often under-documented or don't include real world examples.
  • Arbitrary limits on some components can make things an unnecessary hassle

  • Integrate intro messages, or give a confidence index on how often the lead is replying. They have this feature in other zoom products

Even though we don't use Genesys Cloud to the fullest extent it can be used (we just migrated a year ago), when these upgrades roll out, I am very excited to see what it can do to for our agents. This is the main feature, so they've designed it well with companies like mine in mind. It's fast, clean, efficient, and perfectly integrates with main Zoom sales products, which is something every single one of us uses. So the synergy was already on the table before we started. Highly easy to use, minimal training required.

In general, it gives a description and can help to understand what to do and how. but: Sometimes, it does not keep up with changes in the system (for example, in the GUI changes, additional features and so on). Sometimes, much easier and helpful to read the documentation (https://help.mypurecloud.com/) that gives the "better" explanations and takes less time.

Alternatives Considered

Genesys Cloud CX is much easier to manage than PureConnect - all from one system rather than needing separate components to install and validate. The ease of use when utilising all of the functionality really brings us to present day technology. Where it falls down is in its Outbound systems, currently we are still using pureconnect as an outbound platform and shortfalls in the Cloud CX system has meant we must look elsewhere for our future operations.

As I mentioned, it's more than just a ChatBot. The ChatBot is just another feature that it offers, but it allows you to talk to the website traffic which otherwise would have gone without interacting with your website. Sometimes even retargeting ads fail to target such valuable visitors, that is where ZoomInfo chat plays its role.

Genesys provides Licensing in 3 tier subscription types of licenses on top based on any business requirements then any sort of feature/functionality inclusion (or removal) is discussed openly. There are 2 types of billing models available which are "Named" and "Concurrent" based on the type of roles users will perform in Genesys Cloud CX environment (eg. Agent, Supervisor, Administrator, and Business Users) Also, the billing period/frequency starts on the actual day the platform is delivered.

Professional services are definitely much more experienced than the support teams, and the price for their services is very fair. I wish that the support team could help answer simple questions about work that the PSS team does, however, so that we do not have to use our SOW for simple Q&A emails.

  • It was quite simple to set up. We've tried a few different chat services on our website before, but the integration process is never as simple as the documentation suggests. Installing and configuring this, including integrating it to Slack, was actually quite simple.
