Likelihood to Recommend Google Surveys is perfect when trying to collaborate with co-workers and find a date & time that works best for them to get together, whether it's for a regular meeting, team photo session, celebratory dinner, or Christmas celebration. It's also great for getting feedback on proposed changes that would affect the team.

Learn how students are doing with specific projects (textual-based questions, essay-type answers). Run an election for board members (use of the "other" notation so that people can write in their own choices). Read full review TINYpulse provides a nice, prepackaged survey platform with a library of suggested questions to use and hard-coded timelines and processes... so it is truly a "plug and play" tool. The platform produces some graphics and other methodology for assisting HR in delivering survey results to the rest of the executive team and/or to share with employees. TINYpulse does a DYNAMIC job in selling the message that the employee's responses are anonymous. Not sure if it is a generational issue or the result of younger generations watching a parent go thru a RIF or other job elimination, but the notion of radically-candid feedback is not one which I've found to be present with many Millennials (here or in past organizations), so this is a big selling point for TINYpulse. The TINYpulse platform offers a "Cheers for Peers" program, allowing the company to promote another form of peer-to-peer recognition which can even be linked to Slack (or nearly any business-based instant messaging system) to create a constant feed for all to see those receiving recognition for going above-and-beyond. Read full review Cons While it is very intuitive, there are many ways you can fine-tune your survey (such as word limits, counts, etc) and these are not always obvious where those settings are. I would like to see some ways of changing the formatting (and maybe I just haven't explored that yet), ie: colors, set up on the screen. The pricing structure of TINYpulse has changed since we first began using it, changing from a pay per user amount to a bulk-buy amount. This led to some confusion when we went to add more users. Receives an 8 because many features available with Google Surveys are also available with similar, free products on the internet today. Good, but not stellar.

Read full review Support Rating This is by far the only area where I think that there is room for improvement because Google does not respond as fast as I would like them to. We live in a fast-paced world and this is probably the only area where Google can improve on and as a teacher, I find it challenging to wait for a day or two for a response when everything that I am doing in the Google Classroom is running instantly and with no breaks in between.

Read full review Alternatives Considered I selected Google Surveys to create them because it was free and helped to improve our overall information and data. It was easy to build it into our systems and get the data. Other survey providers have offered a larger variety of options, which have helped even more - but the higher costs were not worth the extra money.

Read full review TINYpulse provided the most-competitive pricing of all vendors considered, with the greatest flexibility of use with desktop, mobile app, and operating system. While customer support proposed by others appeared to be closer to "live" or real-time, with closer to the 24/7 kind of environment in which we live/work in today, budget was a driving factor for us.

Read full review Return on Investment Team members are more apt to respond quickly to a Google Survey request rather than a normal email - makes my job as an admin easier. Easy to check on who hasn't responded - that way I only have to one-on-one follow up with select individuals instead of everyone. You can customize the survey to your team's specific brand, which is especially handy if sent to those outside of our work sphere. Read full review It's an easy way to get feedback and suggestions. I think it contributes to the team culture of wanting to always question and improve. It's an easy way to build rapport among teammates and I think contributes to overall sense of team building (especially for a dispersed team). It's an easy way to keep your finger on the overall pulse of the team and allows management to be able to quickly address any frustrations or issues before they become bigger concerns.
