iATS Payments vs. Xoom, a PayPal Service (personal use only)

If you need a basic Salesforce integrated payment processor then you could consider using iATS. If you have complex needs and need a complex integration with Salesforce you might want to look elsewhere.

Xoom is best suited to send and receive money between two people who live in different countries, not only that we can also send money to our friends, colleagues, family members directly in their bank accounts. They have a great currency exchange functionality that directly converts our received money into our local currency, and deposits it into our bank account within a few minutes. The only drawback is that not many people know about it, it needs good marketing so that more people can use this service, and from my experience, I can say it is very secure and a good competitor of Payoneer.

• Can process recurring donations on a monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis

• Very fast transfer and very secure as being of PayPal.
• Receiver don't need to download the app or use Xoom.
• It supports bank and debit card to transfer funds and same with the receiver.

• Better cut-off times for reporting purposes - sometimes previous day's transactions are reported on the next day's reports.
• Include Discover card transactions in the same deposit with the other cards.
• Take out fees immediately instead of waiting until the end of the month and doing a lump sum.

• Some destinations take longer to get delivered to.
• Higher amounts of money are harder to transfer.
• High fees when trying to add funds to new card.

It's one of the most easy to use and intuitive platforms. The app is very powerful as well.

There are some situations where i would choose iATS, but there are other excellent competitors that should be considered as well. Which you choose will depend on your particular needs, the size of your organization and what functionality you need

The implementation was largely successful. Since this was a large shift from normal practices, we faced a few teething problems, but largely I'd say it went well.

Authorize.Net does not currently integrate with Salesforce which was a critical function that we needed, so we switched to iATS a little over 2 years ago once we implemented our Salesforce database. We are currently in the process of switching to Classy/WePay for the added features and better field mapping capabilities.

We agreed to select Xoom as the main payment method since it had more flexible options. It gives the user a full guarantee of transacting safely and when there is a conflict the customer support team acts quickly. The charges for sending and receiving money are relatively low as compared to other platforms. The mobile application has biometric login features making it difficult for unauthorized users to access confidential information.

• We have had an uptick in payment processing times.
• We receive payments from customers on time with no lag between invoice and payment dates.
• Overall Xoom has literally added to our bottom line by allowing more than a physical check payment option.
