If you are a smail and mid market customer then the lower overall cost of iCIMS would work great with any budget. For larger customers looking for a great ATS iCIMS will work just fine and iCIMS and is moving quickly to compete with the "traditional" large enterprise ATS systems.

Pros

  • Integrates well with TONS of job boards
  • Amazing reports that are VERY user-friendly. You can track ANYTHING!
  • Great passive talent management

Cons

  • It's a "big" system. It takes some training.
  • Slow to load occasionally
  • It took us a while to be able to sort candidates effectively
  • Many processes are able to be utilized but difficult to do the first time

We have established an excellent vendor partner relationship with iCIMS and are not looking to change recruitment systems any time in the near future. They have been excellent to responding to any and all requests, concerns or questions. They have top-notch customer support, professional services and integration experts. We have heard of other applicant tracking systems, but due to the vastness and superb functionality of iCIMS we will continue to partner with them.

I don't use every function so I don't know what I don't know. Perhaps, the fact that I don't use every function is a veiled way of saying that it seems a bit overwhelming to master.

iCims is currently pretty good and the best TAS for us at our stage of growth - but further improvement and enhancements will only help make it even better.

Return on Investment

  • Increased employee efficiency - we are good about writing notes in the system to know who spoke to whom, next steps, etc...Keeps everyone on the same page with the applicant.
  • Better follow up with the applicant through out the whole interviewing process being that we have key people with access to iCIMS to help move along the process more effeciently.
  • Time Management - one place for everything.
