InMotion Hosting vs. JetRails vs. Web Hosting Hub

For freelancers and small marketing companies, Inmotion Hosting is a terrific re-seller option. They provide hosting at a killer rate, and this allows me to earn a good extra income for clients where I host their websites. With the support, I'm able to resolve issues beyond my capability. For individual users, Inmotion Hosting is also a terrific option, and they also provide WordPress specific hosting for better performance.

JetRails is perfect for our small online company. We do not have our own in-house web team, so having a company like JetRails that clearly cares about the success of our website and is patient and understanding of our limitations on technical knowledge is incredibly valuable. We originally started out on HostGator and the help and customer service was 0; we were left on our own. Working with JetRails is the opposite; it provides peace of mind and assurance.

If you are a small business, freelancer, or any other type of user that doesn't need a lot of resources and get less than 10,000 hits per month, this is a great hosting environment for you. If you need more resources, I would recommend something else such as their sister company InMotion Hosting.

• Customer Support is one reason I use InMotion Hosting.
• When I call InMotion I get someone I can talk to, and not a support person reading off a screen.

• Hosting.
• Magento hosting.
• Big Commerce hosting.

• Easy setup - i can easily add domains, sub-domains, add-ons, as well as set up a WordPress installation in a matter of minutes.
• Low cost - if you want to keep costs down, the plans are very cost effective with shared hosting for as little as $5 a month (there is a catch, that you have to sign up for a certain amount of time, but it's still worth it).
• User-friendly UI via Cpanel - no surprises here, it's just a Cpanel that you're familiar with and works.
• Excellent customer service and tech support available 24/7.

• inMotion Hosting shared hosting is limited in I/O but this isn't advertised.

• Expanded offering for Wordpress

• Sites can be slow if you're on a shared server environment as they may be crowded servers.
• Sometimes tech support doesn't know how to solve the problem - but I've only experienced this with one issue and that is site speed. likely the best solution is to upgrade to better hosting.

JetRails staff is very, very, very knowledgeable.

Their team was always responsive, helpful and eager to support us whenever we needed their help. Additionally, they followed up each time they supported us to see if the applied fixes to our problems satisfactorily resolved our issues. In all, their support was top notch.

10/10 hands-down! Support is very fast to respond to tickets. We have an account manager who keeps me informed and is easy to work with. We also have a customer support representative who reaches out and checks in on us from time to time. I am serious when I say that they act like they are part of our company and our team, and not just a vendor. That level of support and confidence is hard to come by these days.

If there's a fix for the problem I'm having, they typically find it and help me implement it. In addition to that, they are available 24/7 to help so I know that they've got my back if I run into any problems whatsoever. Sometimes, wait times can be a little bit long, but honestly, the longest I've waiting was maybe 15 mins, so it's not too bad. Usually, I get through to them within 2-5 mins of calling.

I had terrible tech support and frequent service outages with GoDaddy.
Bluehost didn't have very good tech support and their pricing was higher.

JetRails works well in conjunction with a wide variety of hosting solutions.

Web Hosting Hub is my preferred go-to when selecting hosting for a small business or freelance operation and it is also one of the lowest cost solutions that I have seen. This paired with their really excellent and always-available tech support (which I have called on holidays, weekends, and in the middle of the night) makes them a great option in my book.

In addition, they give you all the tools and access you need to manage your site no matter what you're trying to do. cPanel is a familiar environment and I have not noticed any bugs while logged in.
