NovoEd offers their eponymous online learning platform.
Jobvite was very useful when used to onboard our new hires. Being a Human capital management company, we hire many individuals on a weekly basis so it helps us keep all of the paperwork organized and prevent any accidents when managing all of the data. Sometimes it does pose a problem for those who are not technologically savvy.

NovoEd is well suited for synchronous and asynchronous training. Best suited if you want to leverage social components, discussions, assignments and peer-to-peer learning. We run global cohorts to take advantage of the diversity and create community. That works great. I think that when you need to leverage other design options, in an example, add features to display content in other ways, other types of design even in page layout, then you have limited options (but I haven't found any other better than Novoed in this space). Reports are useful, but more options would be appreciated

Easy to upload content and videos and easy to edit and modify. Allows to program when a module or section can be launched and to schedule specific communication messages to audience. Assignments can be approved to review the quality of deliverables.
The peer-to-peer learning features in NovoEd are great. Discussions allow to connect with the author of the discussion and also with peers. Peers can see other peer’s comments and submissions and comment and learn from those.
User friendly, easy to navigate and structure easy to understand
Leaderboard so participants can see how they are doing compared to others

Custom fields--custom fields do not follow the candidate from hire to onboarding. This is problematic because we then have to recreate on the onboarding side to then import into our HRIS.
Onboarding picklists are time-consuming to populate. We have to enter options one at a time, rather than being able to do an import. Also, field mapping on Hire is a lot easier than having to set up tags on option sets in onboarding.

The options to design a page are limited: page width, navigation, margins, headers, etc. Design feels limited
Does not allow for a lot of customization. All pages flow in the same way so after a few courses, feels repetitive
I am not a technical expert, so I do not know how to embed html content to create other options to display content, in an example: sections that open when you click, etc.
To have different languages, you have to clone the course and translate and create a separate course.

If I were to become an internal recruiter again, I would almost definitely use Jobvite. I liked the fact that we could set up any job application link on our company web site to connect directly to Jobvite. I also liked that Jobvite made employee referral easy to submit, as employee referrals tend to be the highest quality candidates. Jobvite really has all the tools a recruiter needs to get a candidate through a recruiting process quickly without anything slipping through the cracks. Even though there are a lot of features I feel can be greatly improved, I don't think there is anything on the market today that is better than Jobvite
After using varios ATS's in the past, I have found most comfort and ease using jobvite. This tool has made the hiring process so easy to manage and just the fact that it is not complicated to use, makes it even better

Support used to be better. In the last few years, though, I feel like there has been significantly less investment in customer service. We used to have account managers who were very visible and always checking in. Also, there used to be a phone number to get around-the-clock support. I am not sure that that exists at the quality it used to

Before implementing Jobvite, we had iCIMS and Kronos Workforce Ready. Neither of these products got us where we wanted to be with metrics, candidate experience, or technology. I'm sure since we left them they have updated, but we are much happier with Jobvite than others. In the process of searching for a new ATS, we attended demonstrations of 9 other applicant tracking systems and were most impressed with Jobvite.

Much more user-friendly, easy to use. The LMS (Saba and cornerstone) are not user-friendly, tons of more clicks are needed to arrive at a course. We decided on Novoed because of the user experience for end users. LMS very focused on compliance and tracking and not in user experience. Fuse was much more social than our strategy, there every user can upload content. We wanted still to have the discipline of having instructional design, goals, etc, so Fuse was not an option.

Reporting - we had none before other than manually tracking things in excel documents, now we have a full suite of reports and dashboards we can customize.
Interview Scheduling - With the candidate self-scheduling feature, we can now schedule interviews in a matter of seconds while also automating the candidate confirmation email and the calendar invites.
More detailed source tracking than I have seen in any other product allowing full visibility on who we hire, where they came from and we can now analyze our sources.
