Chose Qlik Sense
Qlik Sense is definitely a very powerful business intelligence tool. with its natural language analytics capabilities, it is faster and more accurate as well. Qlik Sense can also easily integrate with multiple data models to pull data and show them in the most pleasing …
When it comes to working with large datasets out of the box, Qlik in my opinion is unrivaled amongst the competitor. However, the overall user experience and customization options available to developers require a lot of work. When compared to other options on the market, …
While the same can be said for many of the other tools we evaluated, Qlik's robust community and free training programs were a major benefit to driving the democratization of data at our company. Qlik also offered local in person events (pre-COVID) that provided free training …
We evaluated over a dozen vendors when we selected Qlik; among them I felt it had the best internal data model philosophy leading to much more powerful self-service analytics and apps which are easily extensible to include other visualizations. I think it was a reasonable …
Pretty good in performance user-friendliness. When generating insights, Qlik Sense looks at the selections and analyzes the excluded values in the data model, which reduces manual work. Also, it highlights data that may be of interest for further exploration. That data is …
Both Tableau and Power Bi provide direct, guided tools for data access for analysts and others with some knowledge of database design and report definition. Their visualization capabilities, while sufficient for most day-to-day business needs, do not allow the same …
For less evolved reporting, it is not bad at all. It is not designed to scale, fully. I mean that as long as you do not intend to scale, it is a good product for your company. Log aggregation level reporting is not suited for Looker. Customer facing data reporting is. As long as the reporting is not too multi-dimensional, Looker is good.
For example, you can make detailed sales analyzes of a product group on the basis of countries and years. As I wrote before, specifically; I'm analyzing the market sale information of household products depending on region and country. In Qlik Sense we developed a dashboard that helps us to reach more trend information and product needs country by country. And then we reshape our product specifications and futures for specific regions. Thus, we can increase our market share. I also use a dashboard that tracks projects' resources, critical milestones, and timelines. All projects can be viewed by everyone at the same time.
The intelligent technology of Qlik Sense educates us to be much more accurate in each of the processes that we build, that is to say that this program is an accomplice to manipulate our data.
One of the greatest virtues that this program offers us is that it considerably increases the speed with which we can act and the efficiency of our operations.
Data analysis in data groups is of great help that allows us to visualize impressive results, however, these tools that are so useful and tremendous to us are not easy to use.
Windows are not very friendly or intuitive.
The support or customer service leaves a lot to be desired.
We've been very happy with Looker so far, and all teams in the organization are starting to see its value, and use it on a frequent basis. It has quickly become our accessible "source of truth" for all data/metrics.
Qlik Sense is a constantly improving it's software and working with its' users to make it better. They are great at keeping their users informed of progress and care about delivering a quality product
Nontechnical users can create reports easily. Can create customized reports individually or on the whole for the group. Slicing and dicing data through Looker fairly simple. Drill-downs are much better than anticipated. Especially heat map drill-downs, became most popular within the company, considering the company is a location analytics ad tech company.
Standard user interface and powerful analytic functions is GREAT. As technical person working in the background there are more things to do to make this a completely great tool. Some functions that should be standard requires consult scripting and hours. Now we are using it quite advanced and with many servers and in combination with QlikView. So overall I love the tool. But it could be better and user friendly and powerful in the background
Looker support specialists are heroes. They are knowledgeable, smart, and always vouch for your success. The availability is super quick, and even if there is no current solution for my problem, they will address it and voice it as feedback for a product.
Not only can you ask the support team for help, but you can also ask the community. Also with the community there is a vast amount of problems that have already been solved. The problem you are encountering has a likely chance of already being discussed and even solved in the community section saving you time from reaching out.
Looker stacks up very well against the other tools we have evaluated and used. All the tools have their own pros and cons. Looker had a better edge in terms of visualizations when we chose to use it. After several updates, other tools began to have newer features. Looker still stands competitive.
The customization of the platform opens up plenty of other options depending on the use cases. The API layer is incredibly rich and makes integration of Qlik based visualization into web pages a simple and effective pattern. It's been very easy to use with a great community made up of professionals. Qlik Sense has introduces artificial Intelligence into my data visualization and reporting activity.
The platform allows you to create visual representations of your data and store them in charts, graphs and maps.
Gives the business owner the flexibility to visualize their data in a real time manner, thereby enabling the business owner to be on top of their data and understand its dynamics.
The direct impact on revenue has not been attributable or measurable because every dashboard or data set on Qlik Sense is just a reflection of what has gone wrong or where we missed an opportunity
The subscription amount was a burn on our cash reserves as it was a year-long subscription
