Looker Feature Ratings
Using Looker
60 - A set of us use Looker for the major parts of the business. I am in Operations and we use it to analyze the accounts. We also have customer service agents who use Looker for their little analyses as well. I guess you can say it's used by over 70% of the company.
60 - I'm not sure if the type of people play such a big part as for the most of us, it must be used. In order to use it successfully and efficiently to it's full potential, one must have very good analytical skills as well as very good problem solving skills as that is what we mostly use it for.
- To review accounts
- To check Transaction History
- To analyze gameplay
- Monitoring
- Fraud Detection
- Risk Management
- Real time information (or better thereof)

Evaluating Looker and Competitors
Yes - Well, I am just in Operations but a few years back we were using a product called Grafana, back then, I was more comfortable using this, however, I came to realize using Looker was actually easier and effective. The only thing I think Grafana had over Looker was real time information.
- Scalability
- Integration with Other Systems
- Ease of Use
Yes, I can most definitely elaborate on the single most important factor in this decision. I can say it would be ease of use. It is very easy to use, it displays where what information should be entered and what data it will pull form entering said information. Though real time data could improve, it enables the data driven decision making with minimal friction.
As I've stated, I only work in Operations and we do not really have much say in the apps the company chooses to have us effectively analyze the data we need and take necessary action. However, I do believe the process in refining the best fit would be the change. Ensuring operational needs, high-volume data etc.
Looker Implementation

Not sure - The lessons regarding change management I took away from implementing Looker was a well structured look, running a small pilot with a few of us from the Operations Team to identify any issues and providing documentation and onboardings guides. These are just a few of the lessons regarding a change.
